the fact he got fired for fighting customers, when he is literally the security staff and customers were already assaulting each other
if anything he was doing his job and stopping fights, like a security guard is supposed to
For real, I dunno why a bar would fire a security guard for fighting a rowdy customer
@@zyanidwarfare5634 movie plot in a nutshell
can asume the owner is assosiate with the betting people soo he lose money because of that
Former bouncer, its legal reasons and semantics. Your jobs legal definition is to prevent fights, not stop them. You can step in and pull people away from one another and legally detain them sure, but using anything that could be considered a strike is classified as assault if the person does decide to press charges after, which they can regardless of the circumstances. If you do strike someone, it falls under either assault or self defense depending on your states laws. The bar however will just classify it as you getting involved in a fight and terminate your employment to avoid additional legal trouble, and does have the ability to say "Actually I decided to terminate him exactly a minute before the fight happened, so he's a private citizen here and not our employee," to avoid being involved legally
Security and Bouncing work at any sort of higher income establishment is not fun or glamorous or rewarding, you were hired because you're 6'+ and have broad shoulders, nothing else
Yeah but in reality Bouncers are not allowed to hit any of these customers, even if they hit bouncers they are allowed and trained to escort them out of the club and doing nothing more or less.
mark got fired for literally doing WHAT A BOUNCER IS SUPPOSED TO DO
Must have worked in cali
He was fired beacuse hes the main reason why the fight starts
you're not supposed to fight back, neither start or join a fight . your job is stopping the fight from even starting aka "troubling people are making a ruckus - you come in and ask them to leave or remove them building/territory without swinging fists", whereas afterward the company and you, the bouncer, is not associated with them at all and they can kill or main or w.e. else they want to do with each other. If people think bouncers are there to get in fights and win it for the company, then you might want to broaden your knowledge a bit.
@@ChoJun69 that sounds a bit like semantics ,stopping a fight from escalating still seems like part of a bouncers job, i never once implied he was some sort of kengan fighter
well in real life theres a lifeguard who got fired after leaving his post to save someone's life. Happened in florida, i think you can find it on youtube.

Yes, the movie ends as everybody celebrates the win... but sadly the part they leave out is the next day Kim's father is found floating face down in the Han River, Kim is never seen again, Mark's body is found two days later in a dumpster with one of his arms cut off and two bullets in the back of his head and Sumi's thrift shop has become one of Seoul's top gambling and massage parlors.

I was 240 lbs and about 8% body (I'm a bodybuilder) fat.... I was in a club in daegu, and a professional rugby player for the Korean national team approached me out of nowhere and asked me to arm wrestle. He was around my weight.... but his bones (wrists) were huge, and more body fat. I am alot stronger than average, so I accepted thinking it a friendly challenge. We went at it for about a minute but the dude was as strong as an ox, he beat me and almost broke my arm in the process. Humbling moment. 100% true story. I work forearms in the gym every day since 😆
