Exactly. And when you go through historical documents, everyone mentions Stalin, Roosevelt, Churchill. Everyone calls them heroes, savers of the world. Nobody ever mentions Tito, the greatest of them all. Tito led a small Yugoslavia in German resistance during almost the entire war. Can't even imagine what he would do if he had a country as large as Stalin had. He didn't know he'll win, it could have been all pointless but he still continued. All Yugoslavs could have chosen to be German slaves, but our ancestors rose against it. And even after the war, he continued opressing to the dictators who wanted to enslave Yugoslavia again. Stalin wanted, but not even him had the balls to do that. Him who they called the man of steel.

Its sad the Yugoslavia isnt here today. Yes Tito was a ruthless soldier, but his actions after the war, to keep so many ethnic minorities together in peace and brotherhood, this is worthy of respect.

@@mybestideas1 I do know quite a bit about Tito. And I've listened to many of his speeches and interviews. I also know about the life of average folk during his reign. He was a working man, not a social climber. He started his career as a machinist. And many of his edicts and policies were influenced by this. He was very much about self governance and he continuously pushed for decentralization of power. Not something a narcissist would do. Communism is a flawed system, but if he could have worked in the framework of Social Capitalism I think he would have left a thriving country behind him. It also didn't help that he had opposing nationalist factions (Serbia and Croatia) who couldn't wait to tear the country apart.

Tito was clever and played both sides against the middle. He would get Aid from both America and the Soviets. If they refused he would he would threaten to go over to the other side. But he always stayed independent.
Stalin wanted Yugoslavia under Soviet rule. Tito kept it independent from the Iron Curtain and out of the Soviets grip. It was still Communist but not in the Soviets control like Bulgaria and Czechoslovakia. Somehow Tito was respected by Stalin and they never rolled in with the Tanks like they did to Czechoslovakia.

It seems there might be a slight confusion in your question. Josip Broz Tito was the President of Yugoslavia, and the United Nations (UN) is an international organization. Tito did address the United Nations General Assembly in 1963, so it's possible you're referring to that event.
In his speech to the UN General Assembly on September 26, 1963, Tito discussed various issues, including the principles of coexistence, disarmament, and the importance of non-alignment. Tito was a key figure in the Non-Aligned Movement, a group of states that did not align themselves with either the Western bloc led by the United States or the Eastern bloc led by the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
If you have specific questions about Tito's speech or if there's a particular aspect you would like to know more about, please provide more details, and I'll do my best to assist you.
