Thank you so much for the excellent instruction. Since I was a little girl I have wanted to watercolor paint. Now, I am almost 60 and I have time to learn. Your videos are wonderful.

I love Japan and things of Japan. Pottery, paper, art, decor, silk kimonos.
Something so effortless, so reductive, but perfect.
Like it is so familiar to me, although I have not been there.
    Thankyou

Thanks for creating such a beautiful art piece as a beginner class because a lot of others put out really easy ones. So it’s nice to see beginner art that is also a piece you could hang on the wall. Thanks for not reducing the challenge 😊🙏🏻

While this is a wonderful video, to describe it as a 'beginner's class' is somewhat misleading. I myself would have liked to see how (and how much) water was applied throughout the painting process. Very grateful to the artist for sharing nonetheless - absolutely spectacular work!

Water is the main ingredient in your painting. I admire the way you use this simple but vital element.
Is it a one shot painting or do you experiement some paintings before you shoot the movie ?

Surrounded by a series of high steep mountains called “the Japan Alps,” Kamikochi in Nagano Prefecture is a scenic highland basin above 1,500 meters sea level.
