This isnt anything unexpected. First take wasnt successful until Stephen A got there and Undisputed is failing since Shannon left. Skip could never hold his own on TV and thats factual.
Skip has never been a talented sports talk person, he only got some views because he would hate on LeBron and other players, or just flat out disrespect certain athletes, Skip has always been an average at best broadcaster.

Maybe the biggest beneficiary of shannon leaving FS1 is the first things first crew. All the traffic from undisputed went there- I didn’t quite realize how valuable shannon was until he was gone.

When you compare Skip and Shannon’s podcast’s on CZcams, the numbers are very lopsided. Skip the other day had 57 people watching his live stream all while Shannon on Nightcap is pulling in 50k live viewers every episode
