    You can run a .030 ring gap with no issues so if the bore is slightly os, check the piston clearance, you should be fine.

      @@sinkorswimgarage cool man I got one in my garage it's a 73 real clean motor hopefully be able to save up some money to do something with it I was thinking about a 421 or 377 I've seen some CZcams videos on some guys building some 421 out of the old 511 blocks making over 700 horsepower well hopefully everybody comes together with parts for you

    Ford made a 406 so a ford 406 piston ring may your pistons

    I hate to say this but your cylinders just have scratches in them. There is no crosshatch in those cylinders at all. OK may be 5 to 10°

      I appreciate it. You're probably right. Had it bored 3 to 5 years ago, never took it out of that plastic, I'm hoping it will be okay. Seems machine shops are very busy now, so I'm gonna try it today to see if it runs. Thanks for watching
