8:35 kicker is removed. Yes because there is no use of it. When the battery is dead, the fuel pump wont turn on meaning there is no fuel pressure at the injector, meaning there is no fuel delivery happening in the engine cylinder. So there is no point in giving a kicker. whereas in a carburetor based vehicles, as soon as you crank the engine via kicker the fuel is sucked in by the engine itself.
So it need not be a high-profile vehicle or costly one to remove the kicker. You made this point so I am clearing this point. It boils down to technical aspects when something is removed or added.

Every battery has its life. You use it daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, batteries degrade overtime(use it or leave it as is). In this case the fuel pump will not run creating enough pressure at the injector.
Now assuming the kicker is provided, Explain us, how will you deliver fuel to the combustion chamber?
Prove us wrong and we will accept we are dumb.
