Watching this video among many others is helping me cope with my own loss. My twin sister died June 18th 2020. She sought the care of a homeopathic and never got diagnosed until 6 weeks prior to her passing but lived less then 2 years from symptom onset. She had every symptom and refused to see a Dr. There are many ways proven to help quality of life for ALS and extend the life by some months which Anthony did. It is a devastating disease and we need a cure! If you have it in your family, your chances to get it in each generation is supposed to be 50/50. This said, it is so very tragic this family had it in each generation. Being a twin I have a risk possibly but we dont really know as our family hasn't had it before. My twin sister was 56.

Thank you for your transparency. Your grit. your sincerity. I am familiar with ALS and I help support it and I am looking into ways to do more. I'm limited physically myself - but, I will do what I can. May God richly bless you - and lift you up - and, shine upon you. I don't know why God allows these burdens we go through. But do know, I go through it with you. You are in my prayers (for whatever they are worth.) I say that, because, I don't know where God is in my own journey - yet, I still pray. He’s now divorced. That hurts my heart. What happened to “in sickness & in health”? You don’t abandon love when things go south. How do you walk away from someone who you promised to love & cherish? No one said marriage would be easy. I pray he finds love again. He deserves it more than anyone❤️
We must also feel for the human side of the wife. Flesh gets tired and overwhelmed. She is human. Taking care of a dying person is rigorous; not everyone can handle it.
@@officetechtyping That’s bullshit, if you’re not gonna be by his side on the bad times, you don't deserve to be with him on the good times, when he was still able to walk, when he was popular and meeting with celebrities. When he was receiving a lot of donations, when everything was easier. Part of being human is to be honest with yourself. She knew he eventually will be completely paralyzed.

Anthony is very lucky . He has a lot of support from his loving family and comfortable living conditions. Some people who are terminally ill don’t have any support at all which saddens me . I hope they do all they can to find a cure for this disease for Anthony , his mum and everyone else fighting ALS.

I just came across these videos. I'm inspired. I haven't officially been diagnosed, but my EMG showed motor neuron loss in my right leg and both arms. Just beginning to wrap my head around this. Repeat EMG 11/1/17. Then I will have an official answer. Thankyou for inspiring me.
I think when people ask What does it feel like to be dying? like you said in your video, is a natural question, because when your healthy the idea of not existing is hard to comprehend so people are curious to the emotions that are attached to your illness. When we are sick and you see a timeline in front of you, your senses become alive..moments seem more precious, the sunsets are more brilliant, birds singing are calming, everything is more alive than it was before you become ill...and its unfortunate that it takes an illness such as this to wake up our brains to the wonders of life.....with that being said , smile laugh, relax, love, do something nice for someone occasionally, and exhale...

My grandpa saw me for the 1st time I was 1 years old and he was diagnosed with als a couple years back and died a little after and my mom talks about him a lot and I never got to see him now

My grandpa saw me for the 1st time I was 1 years old and he was diagnosed with als a couple years back and died a little after and my mom talks about him a lot and I never got to see him now

So a person with ALS had to take care of a person with ALS while having a child (who is now an adult) with ALS. Dude is that even possible?
Would also like to beat a blow for Huntington's, which strikes hard on the family as well. Can't agree more with you, it's horrendous. Now, something must happen in the near future for both of these diseases.
