- Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all!
Mike I adore your charm and witty ways. I'm a 73 yr old disabled shut in that used to dumpster dive and shop in front of homes for city wide cleaning. Those were the day! Thank you for taking me along. I cuss and laugh and answer you. I'm alone living in Utah with my 2 dogs, no family. So congratulations, you just gained a Nana Jody. Please don't stop being you! Nana Jody
I'm 62 in the same boat. Most of these guys never answer a msg or email, Mike does. He may be nuts but he's my kind of nuts!

Don't listen to the haters Mike. You are doing good work for your community!
It is refreshing to see a hard working young man like yourself
You have a kind heart and manners. You are funny as hell too. I would expect nothing else from a Texas Boy.
I like hearing Mike say in every video
Hold up
Watch yo head
What up open top
what we got here y'all
Holly content Mike! After subscribing I had to go back to the early days and just now finished watching them all.
You will find your self going back a few times favourite channel

I do the same!!
There were memory card you through to the side Mike
You are one of who actually clean up 🏴🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I award you the gold stars
Inner workings of the scrapper mind .... priceless and entertaining. 😁 thanks for the smiles.💓
The little tool with the blue handle is a hacksaw, used for tight areas
Great haul tonight Mike! Rain don't stop ol Mike The Scavenger😁👍
Your good attitude alone is admirable. It actually helps me. It gets tiresome seeing the world circle the drain. People like you give me hope.
Greetings Mike. The Rain drops keep falling on your head, yippee. You can take it, get all that metal (even snippets). Vandal Vlogs, Scrapping with grandpa & Florida scrapper says a little rain won't her you. GOD BLESS you always. PLEASE PLEASE be CAREFUL. Be safe, healthy &blessed.
Let’s the juice 🧃 loose 😳, hello 👋 Scavengers-Army!!
After hitting the dumpster juice, you need to do some river scavenging!
That would get you cleaned up!
If anyone is having a bad day they just need to watch your videos they will surely cheer you up Love them all
I sure do get my workout when you go dumpster diving because I am always trying to help you. But, as hard as I try, I don't seem to be of that much help. I'm just glad you are the strong one of us.
Mike, The blue tank is water pressure tank. The main reason they are scraped is the rubber bladder located about 1/2 between ends is leaking water to air side, thus is no long good. usually only has 30 - 50 PSI pressure.Water side is on bottom, air side on top. Little blue cap on top has a air valve to incress air pressure, but once cap is removed, warranty is void.
Mike great haul bud. I have the same lathe that you found, inherited from my father. Hook up a 1/2 HP motor to it and some turning chisels from Harbor freight and you can make table legs, lamps, candle sticks, etc. Maybe worth holding on to for future wood projects/furniture.
Aaooooww, y'all! 😉👊👍✌
Fabulous Buff Scrapper. The Saint of Scrapping. Love the antique Sears roebuck old laythe piece. You are great!
You find so many great things. Wish I was young again..thanks mike😊😊😊
Haven't watched a Mile video in months ... time for binge watching ; ) NZ Keep safe xx
Well Mike if it rains anymore I might just build myself an ark 😂🌧️🌧️
You would think if someone was going to make a turd they would do it behind the dumpster 🤣
Whenever I get a fridge/freezer, etc I put it on its back/open-end up and fill the empty space with scrap. Especially good for poles & sticks or big wads of wire. Bonus--after sorting, pack that fridge full of same type scrap and drop it all at once at the scrapyard.
Mike those compressor air tanks are very useful and if it is not leaking you got a great deal. "FREE"
Absolutely amazing finds and your ability to make it all gets loaded. Be safe and God bless you
I think my ocd would kick in and I'd pick up all the mess around the dumpsters even if I didn't make the mess.
Me too, it bugs the crap outta me but I've seen worse on other scrapper channels. His are relatively neat there in Texas 🙂
@@lia-liz2012 oh me too! And the food divers dumpster areas are horrible.
Cierran cablevisión en Estados Unidos, México y Argentina
Great to see you working the odds and scrapping in the dumpster juice. Keep up the good work
Good job.
Hey Mike, that blue tank would make a nice smoker. If I lived close to you, I would buy it from you.
Thank goodness a video
YOU MAKING A HONEST DOLLAR 💰💰💰❤❤❤😀😀😀🇺🇸
Every little snibbit adds up 🤔
JUICE!!! I DON'T WORRY BOUT NO JUICE!! I got new boots on, what I need is some playtex dish washing gloves!
Your right the lathe is best find.
Another vid of the wonderful random things you find in dumpsters over there! 👌
Yay! What a great scavenger haul. Awesome! Thank you for sharing this scrap haul.👍🤗🤩😍😇❤👌
18:14 Aight that gave me a chuckle lol
My man Mike, that pressure tank probably has a bad bladder inside, that's why it was tossed, that old CRAFTSMAN lathe is cool, heavy duty scrappity scrap!
@@sd01 Same
We simply love your videos and watch them over and over
Hi Mike🙋🏻♀️ from a very wet Yorkshire in England 🇬🇧 Really Love your work🧤Keep safe and keep winning 👍
There is always that random 5 gallon bucket in the big open top dumpsters.
omg that first breaker box you said oh thats heavy my thought woohoo its full of gold all that preacher stuff and movies you may need to burn them prolly should have watched this one before the scrapyard run haha
When I saw that blue tank I said " Oh Lord give him back strength cause I know he is going to get it out". I said use your legs not your back Mike. Good job Good finds tonight.
I heard it supposed to rain all the way up to August
No It's raining here and the temperature dropped then it's supposed to go up again and rain rain rain....Your gonna have to get a rain suit. Love your video's and your candor. Thanks Mike for your consistency. Stay safe young man.
Wow on the craftsman lathe
Kansas city Missouri we have had rain for 10 days straight
start right off with a dorm room “wire spool” coffee table. ✌️✅😎
Mike you deserve the most out standing biggest
dumpster diving awards you are truly the best.🏅🏆🏅
I think more sound effects would be a good thing in this case, the occasion whip crack while snapping up snibbets for example.
Wow that cell phone dumpster just kept on giving!!!
Great video keep em coming
that lathe is dope man
Hell Mike, you & the Mrs are woodworkers. Put that old lathe to work. Fun Vid !!!
Those blackberries when they came out those were for top-notch people
When I come to a dumpster and it's full of nothing I call it full of crapulence😁
Thx host with the most!
Boom boom a boom watch for juice mike.
Great haul, love the old wood lathe. Someone will definitely want it and restore, probably use it as well. Keep on scavenging.
its deffo missing its motor & the frame it would have been bolted to
Big blue tank makes great bbq grills and smokers.
You could have made an awesome floor fan with that bright blue exhaust fan you found in the crate welded to the blue tank. Just put it on some of those heavy duty casters.
Excellent job guys
I changed a ballast in a light today and cut a bunch of wire out of the old one and said ahhh Mike I got you some snibbets. I’m in Maine though.
Dude, you should totally keep that OldSchool lathe!! They don't make them like they used to. Good quality!
"Welcome to the truck , sucka!" 👌👌😂😂
Yay at last, I have missed you
There's something very soothing when you collect the snippits
You worked hard for that blue tank. Thanks for another great video!!!
Nope there was a rust hole in the bottom good scrap though another fine video thanks
Old Blackberry and etc can be worth saving 💰
Dang that blue tank would have made a great smoker or grill
Just incredible! We currently have a lathe like the one you found. It works well!!! It is early 1950’s. We have a Craftsman table saw from this same era. Needed some craftsman parts for it. Found the parts on eBay. Parts for lathe might also be on eBay depending on what’s needed. Wonderful what you do. More people need this work ethic. Thank you.
Raining in Michigan while I was watching this...
Last time I looked fans have motors and motor have copper in them and fan motors are reasonable easy to harvest copper from or so I've found personally
From Egypt 🇪🇬 I tell you, by God, I will come to you
Cool Mike 👍👍👍😎😎😎❤️❤️❤️
Mike? Will you take $10 for the watch? Oh yeah, that 5 centisimos was a Panamanian nickel! You gave me flashbacks of my wonder years since I lived in the Canal Zone back in the late 60s--early 70s.
Great diving! I’ve had about enough of this rain than I can strand lol thanks so much for sharing 💜
Somebody left a tv on my floor today. Still working on it scrap.🐎
Wonderful and yourself
Thank's Mike Smell ya Later!!!; ) Nice Haul!!!
The worst thing about rain is the humidity after
Eewwww I can smell you from here Mike! 👍 🤣
Mike 🤘 godbless thou bin with goodness
Love from Kentucky ❤️👍🧡💛💚💙💜
Another great video Mike, some good finds, especially the lathe. Keep entertaining us mate. Rob T Australia.
I like Butterflies 🦋
I agree I haven't thrown any paint cans out. I go to my nearest place to make sure that it's been handled properly.
It's a pool tank with a big rusted hole in the bottom of it Mike. It's only scrap bud
Actually, some people will buy those to make a backyard forge (Smelting). Not sure what one would go for but you could advertise it like that to get the idea in someone's head.
You could get a couple of outdoor fire-pits from that. Your brother's a welder, get him to help.
Hey Mike
Mike from Winnipeg watching get a laugh from your anticks.
good fines.
that is the thing about good DD's they clean up all around even if they did not make the mess.
Mike you are getting what we have, you see I live in the state of Vancouver, WA west from you
Great job mike
hey mike, love watching you and guess what....they call me Jilly Bean!
Nice vid. Those soft side ryobi cases would be good for hand guns. Keep them protected.
If they are lockable. Good point.
Inlay some of that "marble" in the furniture ya'll refurbish would look amazing.
Craftsman lathe, omfg.....even a small one like that a couple hundred dollars. They were made well and accurate back then, and as you can see, can attach any motor, make your own belts, and if you had a steam engine setup could power by steam.
Been raining for like 13 days straight here still more rain this week
Cool socks 😎
Got a haul. Good scrap
Ok. 🤝
Stopped bye to say congrats on your vintage craftsman lathe! Wow! My uncle Bob was a talented craftsman, and I’ve def seen that before! Very cool, Mike! 👏🏻🥳
Tks for thevideos
