I can't wait to see people using trains on PVE. I imagine that is where it will thrive the most, especially for carrying massive amounts of resources across the map instead of just have 5 argies follow ur flyer
I haven't gotten to play since last week, but I hope you can make railroads public or ally-usable structures, and just the train itself belongs to a specific tribe
I like the caves just wish they had a purpose. I wish they would’ve extended the map a little bit since it is one of the smallest. They could’ve just pushed the dunes further out and expanded the interior of the map a little bit.
Some more added flat ground to build these western towns and train tracks would’ve been appreciated .
I also feel that not turning the arena into a dungeon was a big missed opportunity.
The big door it used to have always seemed like it should be able to be broken down and explored.
The oasis cave should have dung beetles at the very least.
A unique tame & an artifact would have been better but at least some rarer materials would make the cave more worth returning to if you never build in it.
I got the DLC and don't regret it! :)
HUGE content update for builders finally!!!!! So many new pieces to build with, and the trains are amazing! Despite a few of the bugs and the challenges in assembling tracks - they actually work amazingly well! AND they started fixing the platform issue where players would fall off moving platforms when becoming airborne. Now you can jump and keep your momentum on a moving platform!! I have yet to test it, but I think they added it to boats too.
I'm very happy with the content so far. price was a bit steep for one of many chunks of dlc to get the full game back though.
It's just a way to get people to rebuy the dlc again, its the same cost as the se/ab/extinction dlc season pass.
Sad truth about Ark: Most of it's content is for Roleplay or PVP.
Sad for people that are not into those types of gameplay.
This mod is NOT worth 30 dollars, Wild Card ethic is so low players actually question "this is so wrong maybe I'm wrong..", it's so wrong it fools you.
I got a good spot on se official pve and quit since I realised I'm in a toxic relationship with WC. I stayed up all night since it released at 4am here in Ireland. I can't do this shit anymore.

The wyverns didn’t get there tlc update like proposed, when showing off the unreal update, so hopefully that will be a tlc to come soon
The only thing thats kinda annoying about the train is you cant use someone else's track. If you could i would be 100% with this pack. Im 80% in thinking this pack is worth it just the trains needs to be shared tracks then well worth it
didnt mention oasisaur has resurection pool, so when taims die can take a corpse to rez it.

I really do wish that they would’ve taken this opportunity to finish scorched earth, maybe adding more bosses and a Tek cave. Endgame still feels very flat and boring after you get a Wyvern, not much to do.
With this neat Wild West style stuff for scorched earth. I can’t wait to see what steampunk aberration and post apocalyptic extinction will bring.
Iv been playing ASE few months after it was released, Iv been enjoying it very much, I have brought the DLC for the oasis and clothes skins but i will admit the train makes no sense other than for role players and builders, Me truthly id rather just beat the bosses and get the tek teleporter to grind for resorces or to just get round the map with out the use of flyers
Idk how they could do it, i wish the tracks were more like minecraft, shorter but more flexible
I just had a thought.
Depending on how many carts you can add to the train, if it was an open end... What's stopping us from placing a 30, 40 cart long train next to the wyvern trench, grab an egg, enter the cart right next to you and teleport to the engine, which due to the length is well out of aggro range?

I play on ps5 and my wife plays on Xbox. Xbox looks terrible compared to ps5. Xbox graphics don’t look at good, more cartoonish, clouds look like particles, and no save button.
It’s a bug, just restart your Xbox and ark and it should unlock by themselves

I downloaded ark ascended last night. I'm very new to ark. The character creation menu was kinda funky. It was hard to see the character I was creating. Is that normal or was the game messed up ? Besides that and didn't even bother me I'm super excited to play ark. If your new like me I suggest u watch a beginner's guide. 😊
I recommend you play solo to get a hand of things, then upgrade to official.
Is the train only available on SE or can you choo choo around the Island with it?

Reason they're front loading the price is just because of they're needing revenue more now than later due to their issues fiscally. As if they cant bring in enough now, future content may become moot. As for the animated bob lores, it does come across childish in comparison and almost condescending.
I can’t even connect to my rented server since the update and release. None of my friends can. And that’s the island. Something got broken, but. We wait. Xbox. Maybe single player scorched works, but I’m waiting to ascend.
All my single player data got deleted
My buddy said we should always just expect to wait 3 days for fixes, just turn off server, wait….which is what we are doing. I don’t play single player much because of the issues. Honestly it’s been great for 5 of us with a rented server in asa island Xbox x. But they don’t ever seem to test for console.

how is a shovel op, it literally digs up stuff, if anything the rhyino shouldn't be on pvp because its op
@@Theworldisscrewed you can hide loot, find treasure chests with op loot and get water anywhere on the map.
@@Theworldisscrewed I agree the rhyino shouldn't be in pvp on the island but the difference between the rhyino and the shovel is one costs 41$ and the other anyone can get just by playing
@@SimplyTexynot exactly. One would have to pay for ark asa just to get the rhyino. It cost the same
ASA SE looks cartoony as hell , looks similar to fortnite almost on some of the coloring
