    ======================================
    Rabbits in the wild consume a vast array of plants all around the world. The majority of the wild rabbit diet consists of various types of dry and fresh grasses and plants with leaves. Rabbits will also consume modest amounts of tree bark, fragile twigs and sprouts, fruits, seeds, and other healthy items. This is vital to understand while deciding on a nutritious diet for our house rabbits.
    However, a few things should be noted before relying on this figure. To begin, developing rabbits should consume up to twice as much as a fully grown adult rabbit.

    I usually gave them iceberg lettuce, when I looked further in to Google I saw someone say that iceberg isn't good for rabbits, my rabbit is feeling better now!

      @@IMeMineWho there's not one unified diet/method of making rabbits eat hay all rabbits are different and have different food choices , a little bit of carrot and apple etc 1-2 a week works best in the case of most rabbits.

      @@vincent9.7 Nope. Carrots are high in sugar and so are apples and giving more than a thumbnail's worth is high risk for GI stasis and she is trying to get her bun to eat hay which has to be offered every day..not one or 2 times a week! High quality pellets that have no additive, soy, sugar or carbs is better according to vets. Carrots and apples should be treats only a couple x a week according to vet sites like VCA Animal Hospital, ASPCA and they prefer it to be the size of a thumb and to get a bunny to eat hay, he has to do so every day and buns under 1 year old shwould not have any high sugar foods at all!. To get a bunny to eat hay, the pellets should be a sprinkling in the hay and pellets like Garden Select which has vitamins and no additives.
