As per usual, a wonderful review. Such a pleasure to watch and listen to the two of you. Will be great if you can do all of the Talisker whiskies and then do a comparison video. Take care in these trying times.

Yes, a great Malt! This one really opened up my heart for Single Malt Whisky! Thank you for rewiewing this. I always enjoy your Videos. 😊
Whitch is your native speech, Gustav?
Könnte es vielleicht deutsch sein? 😉

A very underrated whisky indeed. I also noted the decimal on the ABV as strange. I'd like to think it was purposefully diluted to the optimal taste - a bit of wishful thinking perhaps. As always, an excellent review!

Interesting that you guys liked this whisky. It was the last bottle I bought just before lockdown and hated it. I’m no expert, but neither a beginner. I also LOVE peated whisky and prefer complex whisky and after almost a month of returning to this bottle I still can’t get past how rough, sharp and unfriendly this whisky is. Much prefer Ardbeg, Highland Park, Lagavulin, Laphraoig et al. Taste really is subjective I guess

I love this one, really pleasant if you like bourbons aged in higher-char barrels.

I first tried it about two years ago and I really liked it, it was my first peated whisky and the only peated one I really like. Bought a new bottle a few months ago and now That I have much more experience with whisky I agee That it's young and rough. I think it's the casks tough. They use reused casks probably because talisker is a popular malt.
