Call me old fashion but my favorite part of every Kent and Shannon Rollins video is when Kent removes his hat to thank the troops and for America 👍❤️🇺🇸
🇺🇸
Yes sir, I agree! And you can tell it's not for show, he means it all the way down to his old bones.
I thank them often for that.
My father and my brother were both in the United States Air Force, so I too appreciate Kent thanking the military serving our country every time!!!
You can't be that old fashioned. I'm only 31 and his patriotism is incredible. I for one love to see that there is real Americans left.
"It don't get no better than that"
As a new American citizen, this is the reason why I love this country so much, great job Kent !!👍🇺🇸
Blessings to the legal immigrants. I am married to one. Took a lot to be a citizen. His family went through quite a process. Not given anything. My love, respect and support for you and your family! God bless.

because of meatloaf you love this country?
Welcome fellow american glad your could come aboard
@@barbramighall4518 on the worst day of my life, I am blessed to be in America ... And Texas
I do consider myself a meatloaf master. I was managing a 50 seat cafe' back in the day and an old high school teacher of mine who had lost his dear wife in the previous couple years would come in. He was alone in the house so he would come in and have the specials on a very regular basis. When we had my meatloaf he was the first one in the door. He told me, "When I eat this meatloaf, I almost think my wife was still with us."
Now Kent, that almost got me to balling in the dining room cause I know how much he loved his departed wife. I can think of no other compliment that ever hit me as hard as that one! I fought back the tears and thanked him from the bottom of my heart. But I do think this one I am gonna' have to try. I only wish Bob were still around so i could give him some.....
Thank you for this recipe and bringing me back to that wonderful memory of Bob Root.
My mom made a good meatloaf. One time I asked her for the recipe and she just smirked and said she didn't use one, just dumped stuff in a bowl. I asked if it would be a huge trial for her to hold a measuring cup under while she dumped stuff. She never did do it and I can't make it like she did. One odd thing she added though, was liquid smoke, so this smoked meatloaf makes sense to me. I cooked in restaurants for years so I can make meatloaf for 40 people, but I can't make one for one or two people. Can't get the seasoning or ingredient ratio right.
You were were clearly providing more than just food for that customer! Nourishing the soul too! Good job!
@@jamesmilos9909 Thank you sir. I really loved that man. He was my biology teacher. One test in genetics, everyone scored very low. He came into class and asked us how he failed us. He took our low test scores personally and wanted to know how he did not explain the subject clearly enough. That was 40+ years ago and have never had a teacher before or since take their job so personally. Bob was an amazing man and teacher!
Very nice story. Cooking sure can bless a lot of people huh?
@@justifiedlife1595 and you never forget how the recipe was made once you make it yourself, unless its a hard one. if it is. then write it down. I do. on paper. then if this computer stuff crashes. you got it on paper. old school
I made this in the oven and it was the most delicious meatloaf I’ve ever had in my whole long life. I can only imagine how much better it will be when my sweet husband does one in the smoker. Thank you for sharing all your great recipes!
Gordon Ramsay can keep his michelin rated food.
I'll take a Cowboy Kent's Winchester rated feast any day.
I agree. It seems to me like "chefs" like to compete with each other to find the strangest stuff that still qualifies as marginally edible. Then they want you to clap and cheer because you didn't quite barf. Yeah, the Cowboy wins; all day, every day.
Amen I'll take some BBQ, beans and cornbread or a Biscuit over that fufu food any day.
I'm sure Gordan would appreciate his cooking.
theres thousands of unusual cooks out there - you picked the wrong one for yer reference
Ramsay is all about quality food , fresh ingredients and good traditional tastes
you wont find any strange food with him
i bet he would make the exact same meat loaf if you would ask him
The Cowboy way is my way.
as far back as i can remember my Mama made me a meatloaf with scalloped potatos and cream peas...she's make'em for the Lord now, and i still make them her way, maybe all together 60 years now, and this one do look good Kent, real good
Boy that sounds like a good combo! Bless your moms memory, and hope the Lord is enjoying her face to face presence.
Wow that makes me think! At the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, maybe not only will God have His food for us but maybe we will be able to bring a dish to pass. Just think... the best recipe you can ever think of with the best ever ingredients, dare I say Heavenly ingredients! And all sorts of dishes from all countries! What a thought!
Oh yes, so good to hear. I love every video, blessings and hugs! Praying for you daily. Thanks for all your hard work. Scratches for the pups. 🐊
I love watching the food you create...always left drooling all the way over here in Australia.
Oh my LAWD that is the most amazing thing to come off a smoker since brisket.
I just prepped some ribs for competition. Took a St. Louis slab, and prepped, and seasoned, then added lime juice. They are resting in the fridge now, waiting for yours truly to grill these up.. I miss my customer base, probably lost, and gone forever. I believe God will restore what the enemy has stolen. Thanks for this video, Cowboy!
Sending a warm greeting to you, & the Mrs.!!!!

This is now on my list. I'm loving both cookbooks, great recipes and the stories are an added bonus. Both seasonings give a great flavor to anything you want to cook and the spatulas are a handy tool to have. Thanks Kent and Shan. God bless
I have now made this two times and truly enjoyed it. My wife and I now have a new favorite meal.
Meatloaf sandwich 🥪!!!
That is grandma's special growing up! Love it!!
Kent, I just want to thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes and fantastic humor with us. I enjoyed your videos before, but they’ve now become a fantastic reprieve from all that’s going on in the world. Keep up the good work, and the good cookin’!
I've got a meatloaf in the oven as you speak! BTW, made the banana bread over the weekend! Amazing!!! Love the addition of the cream cheese!
The video production just keep getting better. Thanks for what you do!
Thank y’all for all the content y’all are truly here to stay From Mississippi with love
The only reason to cook a meatloaf if for a sandwich two days later. My bread preference is lightly toasted sourdough bread.
I'm with ya on the sandwich,,,,,,

I like to have a nice, thick cut off the end of the loaf when it's still warm from the oven but after that, into the fridge and on to sandwiches. :-P

This is easily the tastiest looking meatloaf I've seen. Happy Memorial Day, Kent.
Absolutely amazing! Can not wait to make this! Thank you Sir, and God bless!
Lovely and sounds delicious. Meatloaf is something I really like and this twist of Meatloaf with some spice.
Hey Kent, we did this one on the smoker yesterday -- absolutely fantastic! Really complex mix of flavors. Took about 2.5 hours total on the smoker. Can't wait to try it again!
Some of the most delicious recipes in the world! Thank you Kent and Shannon, Duke and Beagle
Hello from Tennessee....family and I enjoy the recipes. Man of my own heart for cooking.
Just fixed this for the first time - amazing! It was so good. I have an old Weber grill without a temperature gauge, so it took me about 3 hours to get it to 155*. I used mesquite wood. But it was absolutely delicious. Thanks for the recipe!
I agree brotha.. I think it's one of best recipes.. and next day the meat loaf sangwhiches is a great day above the grass .. stay safe you two .. much respect from 🇨🇦
It made my day to hear you talk about a cold meatloaf sandwich sir. My favorite part of making meatloaf for sure.
Hi Kent and Shannon! Just so excited! My husband surprised me, by ordering your cookbook! We have enjoyed your videos and have watched everyone one we can find on CZcams. We’ve made several of your recipes. They are just good ole recipes! Your recipe book will now be on my kitchen counter! Happy barbecuing!
I made this today, it's out of this world.
Your way of cooking TOP of the World 🔝👍🌍👍
Hi Kent & Shannon!! thank you for another great recipe it will be on the menu this weekend at the campground. I have made several of your recipes over the last month and will be making many more this summer. My husband and I really enjoy watching you guys!!!
Just tried out this recipe and it was the absolute best meatloaf I have ever eaten. Thank you Kent!!!
Good afternoon Cowboy Kent and lovely Shan.
Have been looking forward to seeing another delicious recipe, from the best of the best!! God bless.
Yum!!! 😋😋😋😋
Oh my god Kent, I've only just cooked the zesty meatloaf. Now this...I love meatloaf. I can't wait to taste. Your face says it all!!!
The sound effects are superb and this meatloaf looks amazing!
I just made the today and it was by far the best meatloaf that I have ever tasted! Incredible! Thank you for this recipe.
Made this tonight for the family. Everyone loved it. Thanks Kent.
Glad you enjoyed it
I made this and it was great! I would double the glaze recipe and have it on the side as well for dipping. And he's right...the end pieces are the best!
God bless you Kent, just bought your seasoning and whooo boi that is some good stuff cowboy. You’re right, mama’s meatloaf is the best❤️
Oh man, this channel just keeps gett'n better and better - Smoked Meatloaf!
Smoker-purists notwithstanding, smoked meat loaf is my all-time favorite. And, as usual, Kent's recipe just raised the bar.
Cowboys videos takes me away from all the evil in the world. Hey Cowboy, can you make a video that’s a week long? Love you guys. And the pups too!
Watching from Germany. Nothing better. Love it
Kent you are such a classic gentleman and one heck of a chef. I so enjoy watching your videos and wish my father was around to share it with. I will definitely be making this on my channel soon and will give you a great big shout out! Thanks for all you do and God bless.
My mom use to make cold meat loaf and warm mash potato sandwiches. That would be washed down with a glass of cold buttermilk. She would bring them out to my dad, brothers and I out in the fields of the farm we had in the Ozarks. That was back in the early 1960's. I sure do miss those times.......
Bud Woodman I would love to go back to those times even though we had to get up and go to the tv to change the 3 channels we had on the tv. Raise the hood on a car and we could see the ground. We had some of the best country music to listen to. Had good food in the school cafeteria instead of the junk food they feed kids now. I know because my wife works in the school cafeteria. There wasn’t many fat people back then either. I would take times over all of this technology we have now. We live in a world of gadgets now. Even cars are filled up with gadgets.
We had a family of Davis's back then. There was Bernard (who was a few years ahead of me who died in an auto accident and his sister Mary Lou, who was on year ahead of me). You were also right about the cafeteria food, it was tasty. I also remember the '3 channel' thing as well. One station was primarily News, another was Country Music channel and the last was were we would watch Ed Sullivan, Jack Benny, etc.... Yea, those were the times.
Hey y’all two. Such a bright spot. Thank you for your content. Your RN friend keeping it safer wherever I am. 🌹🌹. Shared to Facebook-always.
Mr. and Mrs. Rollins that smoked zesty meatloaf is the best meatloaf I have ever had. Thanks for the great easy to follow recipes.
Another great recipe. I've been adding pork sausage to my meatloaf for years and it's great to see someone as wonderful a cook as Cowboy Kent do the same thing. Thanks for some great new ideas! Keep up the great work. Much love for all these great videos.
Outstanding! More magic from the cowboy cook/chef magician.
He truly is God's gastronomic gift to us.
Let's be honest here, how many of us were just hanging out on CZcams waiting for Cowboy Kent to come along? 🖐
I am guilty 😇😇😇
oh you have no idea
Kent and Shannon,
I just want to say thank you for bringing in the down home goodness like you do. I have recently been introduced to your videos by my son Nicholas. Together we sit and watch every one that you guys post. It perks up our day to see both of you, your true values and the fact that you are not afraid to put them out there for everyone else to see. I have just received your book, Faith and Family, and am excited to get into it and try out your recipes. We hope that God continues to bless you and keep you both in good health! Stay safe and keep up the fun!
I've tried several of your recipes, but this is my favorite to date. Even my wife, who doesn't like meatloaf, loves this one!
I just made this today... my first time making meatloaf! My initial impression: this is gourmet meatloaf. It isn't the bland stuff you've had before... flavor is quite good and be prepared, it's different. ;-)
This isn't the first meal of yours that I've made. Like the rest, this was delicious. It is the best meatloaf we've ever eaten. Thanks Kent!
Edit: made this meatloaf twice in as many weeks. I can't recommend enough. Make this meatloaf!
Kent , I made your Cowboy Meatloaf on my smoker ! Your right, the next day cold Meatloaf with Mayonnaise on rye bread with a cold Ying Ling . Heaven on earth .
I sure will try this out before basic training next week, thank you, sir. God bless you.
Best meatloaf ever! Sorry Shan. I had to modify the cooking method because I'm working with a really small charcoal grill. I can't believe that I have never thought to add cream and make it a mousse. Brilliant! I also ordered your most recent book from Amazon tonight.
You've brought faith into my life again.
Thank you for watching Frank and we hope you enjoy the book
I am not a meatloaf fan , but you just changed my mind. I will be making this asap.🍺
Best cooking channel on youtube in my opinion. I love trying these recipes out at home.
Y'all's videos production just keep getting better and better. As i was about to ask about having to fight the scrim in the wind I saw the outtake of it blowing over. The trouble and expense y'all go to for this type of stuff really does compliment the food Kent cooks.
Heaven on Earth!! Another must have recipe from Kent and Shannon!!

Good one. Very Kent..
I love u guys show. I enjoy so much me n my wife. She’s goin back to work Tuesday the 26th
So I made this recipe yesterday and it is simply the best meatloaf I've ever tasted. the glaze is spectacular.
Heck I was just going to *loaf* around today, but I guess I better get cookin' before I get *smoked!*
Enjoyed the video as always. Growing up meatloaf was my favorite food. I haven’t ate meatloaf in 40 years. Back in 1980 I ate meatloaf at a restaurant and became sick with food poisoning. It was on a Friday and I should have known better because the restaurant probably had some hamburger meat trying to go bad and decided to make a meatloaf out of it. I have not been able to eat meatloaf since.
You should sue the restaurant for gastrointestinal and emotional distress
Watching your videos is an easy escape from the craziness going on in the world, black, white, yellow, everyone can enjoy some Kent Rollins! Thank you man
I just tried this recipe. Outstanding!! Smoky, tender, moist. The relleno chiles add a nice touch. Will definitely be smoking this meatloaf again.
Haven't had lunch yet thank goodness.

It's just that some people like to be negative.

One of them cooked this meatloaf two weeks ago at our Smokin' Group's spring fire up get together at Crawford State Park, KS. I live up KC way.

Thanks for watching Michael and glad you enjoyed

@Medijine Time you are very welcome. 😊
Andy Griffith, my childhood...and adulthood!
I made this on Tuesday, with a couple of modifications, I topped with bacon instead the pepper, it was sooo good!!
My mother has been collecting iron skillets and Dutch ovens. I've leaned how they really add so much to flavor, etc. I'm a huge fan of nearly all the dishes he cooks up and I'm now shopping for a flat hot grill to help with stepping up my cooking. Keep them coming. Thanks
What temperature are you aiming to keep the smoker at while cooking this?
If it took an hour and a half, I would guess around 300 deg. He said the interior temp should be 155 when you take it off the grill so that should be about right I think.
