Not only that, but Scar has been grinding MCC these past years and significantly improved throughout. It's even helped him in PvP outside MCC, and that's not been a secret as we know.
TIES is going to be amazing to watch. If they get above 9th place, I'll be amazed, but the amount of fun they'll be having will be insane. I really appreciate how seriously Tango and Skizz were taking this. You could tell they really appreciated Jojo giving her time to help them. Etho as well, even though this isn't his first MCC. Don't get me wrong, I want them to have fun more than anything else, but I also want them to try as well.

I get geeking out, but there is a concept called personal space. It is simply claustrophobic how up in his face everyone was. Let the man be or stand next to him or something but punching right in his face is not cool.
I do feel like I want to try to explain a bit more *how* the Parkour Warrior scoring works, because it seems like you didn't really fully grok that, (plus I feel like jojo's explanation was as confusing as it was clarifying), so here goes: The main thing you're trying to do in PKW is earn "medals", which turn into points ("coins") at the end of the game. Each little parkour "section" gives you one medal, but there are multiple types of medals: Stone Medals: Each section of the main path (there are three sections after each bonus path intersection) gives you a stone medal, which is only worth 2 coins. The remaining three medals all come from bonus paths: Bronze Medals: The first section of each bonus path gives you a bronze medal, worth 5 coins Silver Medals: The second section of each bonus path gives you a silver medal, worth 10 coins Gold Medals: The last section of each bonus path gives a gold medal, worth 15 coins So you get a lot more points by getting some medals from bonus paths, rather than just rushing through the main path, and also you get more by completing every section of one bonus path, rather than just trying to do the first section of each of the first few paths. Also, because the bonus paths get harder as you go along, its better to try to do the first bonus path completely, and maybe attempt the second bonus path, rather than rushing through the main path and then trying later (and harder) bonus paths. At the end, all the medals your team earns get added together, and then multiplied by a multiplier based on what end paths complete: at the end you have to pick between Easy, Medium, or Hard for the ending paths, and the multiplier is the (additive) sum of the values of the endings each player completes: Easy adds +0.15x, Medium adds +0.35x, and Hard adds +0.80x; so for example if two players complete Easy, one player completes Medium, and player managed to complete the Hard path, the final multiplier is 1.45x; but if you don't manage to finish, you don't contribute *anything* to the team multiplier, so its better for your team to finish with less medals, than to get more medals but not finish.
I love how straight up in the first round of the first game, Tango gets stuck, then panics in indecisiveness, realises it, and solves his problem in the most round about but still successful way. That was so in character you couldn't have written it if you wanted to. 😂

I'm debating watching the admin pov (if they still do them) because there are too many teams that I want to watch (pretty much all the hermit teams) and the admin pov should at least gloss over them all. Then I'll go back and watch vods. I just need to find where the admins stream.

I like the talk of scar at the beginning. He beats himself up a lot, but he is a good mcc player. He is consistent and is an amazing support player. He has good callouts and instincts.
Honestly same, 40 possible povs combined with my severe fomo just became overwhelming and it's only got worse the more people I am a fan of started playing, there are like 6-7 hermits playing in this mcc alone

Tango you should definitely be the sand keeper in SOT. You'd be so good at the little puzzles and yelling at the guys to hurry up, plus you don't have to worry about missing sand or getting lost in the maze. Skizz would also be good at the management part of sandkeeping but I think you'd have a slight edge in the puzzles I'm so excited for this MCC, definitely gonna be watching you live!
Same here! I've been curious about MCC since I started hearing about it, especially when I learned Smajor was involved (it's a longish story, but I indirectly found Tango and Hermitcraft thru Smajor's channel) but in the clips I did see everyone knew what they were doing and I was completely lost. Watching it for the first time from the POV of someone who's playing for the first time will be perfect.

I've seen clips of people in the waiting areas bouncing around and that was overwhelming enough for me to not bother looking into it further 😅 Tango has such an entertaining reaction to not knowing whats happening that is funny and relatable so i am vibing with his perspective. I also only just found out smajor was the creator of mcc, via his interview on the imp and skizz podcast. Before that I'd only known him through the life series and didnt realise there was a connection to mcc at all. I love how this community boosts each other up and spotlights each others work 🥰

You did so CRAZY good at parkour! It would have been helpful if you knew where you were at any given time, but I assure you, you were doing crazy good. And you did easy, medium, and most of hard, an most of the main path before you reset.
Jojo might be the best S-Tier in terms of teaching newcomers. H is good if you already know what you're doing, Fruit is good if you're a few MCCs in and are ready to get more competitive, but Jojo is the best when it comes to fresh meat XD.
All I kept thinking about while watching this vod: "Tango is the Parkour Champion, Tango is the Parkour Champion, He's got this." - Tango, your patience and perseverance did not go un-noticed. GG.

I think you could be really good at Sands of time as long as you dont fall into indecisiveness. But you have Skizz on your team, although he might be a little too preoccupied with the hazards in the tunnel. Actually, maybe Skizz should be Sandkeeper. He can be a good leader and shotcaller. And you and Etho should be the ones to come up with a strategy in advance for him, because nothing can stop your combined brainpower.
Don't worry about pvp. Like Gem and False are beast on hermitcraft, but in MCC they're like, not totally helpless. Maybe it helps if you do take some pvp classes like Etho did last season from Gem or Joel ;) would make a fun episode!

Jojo might be the best S-Tier in terms of teaching newcomers. H is good if you already know what you're doing, Fruit is good if you're a few MCCs in and are ready to get more competitive, but Jojo is the best when it comes to fresh meat XD.

I think you could be really good at Sands of time as long as you dont fall into indecisiveness. But you have Skizz on your team, although he might be a little too preoccupied with the hazards in the tunnel. Actually, maybe Skizz should be Sandkeeper. He can be a good leader and shotcaller. And you and Etho should be the ones to come up with a strategy in advance for him, because nothing can stop your combined brainpower.
