FF XII TZA: "River Lord" Sidequest Guide

Finishing this sidequest is rewarded with Lu Shang's Badge. Selling this, the Omega Badge and Godslayer's Badge from Yiazmat unlocks the powerful greatsword "Wyrmhero Blade". It appears as "Dragon Crest" in the bazaar price list.
UNLOCKING THE FISHING AREAS
Downstream: first area
Midstream: achieve five perfect fishing scores at Downstream
Upstream: achieve five perfect fishing scores at Midstream
Hidden Shoals: acquire the Matamune and receive the Cactoid Compact at Upstream
Den of the River Lord: receive the Cactoid Commendation at the Hidden Shoals
DECIPHERING THE CLUES
Blue Bottle: A becomes B and so on, resulting in the message 'Deadlands Boat'. In the german version, the letters must be put in the right order.
Green Bottle: Read every second letter and repeat the process in opposite direction to get the message 'Salika Hut near Deadlands'. In the german version, B becomes A and so on while the clue is written backwards.
Red Bottle: This clue leads to a shrine located in the Mosphoran Highwaste.
Yellow Bottle: In the Cerobi Steppe, the windmills 1, 2, 5, 7 and 9 must be turned on, the others must be turned off.
Black Bottle: The numbers 1 to 26 represent the letters in the alphabet. 'Sluice Gate Rats' is the answer. In the german version however, the first number of each pair refers to a bestiary entry, the second number to a word in their descriptions.
All the letters combined will unveil the location of the Matamaune: the Barheim Passage.
