I've been watching at least a couple years or more, and I still watch to catch the newest episodes. I love the history of it all, all the connections seemingly to other countries and learning the Knight Templars history too. I really hope these guys find something big, they deserve it. They've put so much expense, machinery, man power, lab machinery and brought in so many experts from various fields. It's been a herculean feat that's for sure. Good luck to them.... I hope I am alive to see it. (I'm elderly, so who knows. lol)
I believe that oak Island was a place where they changed ships from knight templer ships to look like different ships types so they could sail more freely around the world and not be recognized but they charged a high fee for the work. Which they stored up a large fortune that they buried with traps to stop people from stealing it. But the traps were set off before they could get it
This is one of the few 'Oak Island' stories that really offer something.

I've been watching from S1E1 all the way through & I admire what Rick & Marty have accomplished... it's the journey that says it all right? The only thing I'm confused or don't have an answer to is that why are they digging so deep & with all that equipment let alone the danger... so my question is how would it be possible for whomever to dig that deep with only picks & shovels giving the terrain being the same? In my opinion I don't believe the treasure if any is buried that deep, I believe it's in a shallow grave. I will always keep watching to find out for sure!!! Good job to the TEAM!!!

where did so many pirates from one ship hide their treasure shares so they could seek more jn a light ship? Oak Island may be a 'swiss' bank sort of place with Nolan's cross a manner to locate each pirates treasure later. The Knights Templar (Freemasons) were (are) in every culture such as Norse, English, Pirates, etc. Blackbeard took fifty slaves from a slave ship. What did he do with them? Maybe someone took all the pirates' treasures and put them in one spot. With coins and jewels found on the surface I imagine pirates gambling with their loot. A secret bank for many to use for over 800 years?
Now the run off series starts who and when new history will be found
