1) find a shop where the barbers will look over your work + help you through your problems with cuts
2) do free cuts and market that a master barber will be looking over all work and that they won’t be leaving dusty lol
After I graduated barber school, I went through my high school yearbook and found all my classmates on social media then proceeded to market myself. I started with a simple conversation then gradually told them about me and what I do.
initially the goal is to get clients. I found if we can get customers first then we lock them in! Earn their trust first by getting them to your chair!!
Earn their trust by showing your work, having confidence, and take yourself seriously. Conduct yourself as a professional!
