The little boy taught me something today, about finding joy in every little thing. I wouldn't surprised if he became a spiritual teacher one day. What a beautiful way of life.
ihope the kid gets out of that cult and lives a normal life.
Please elaborate what you expect him to do once he is out of the cult so we get a clear picture of your Outlook for the coming generation.
@@solkolman I think he will enhance any role he chooses to assume. He'd make an excellent Rabbi or teacher of any kind. I think kindness, compassion for all life, insight and wisdom are the way forward for the human race and without it we are doomed. Our greedy warlike tendencies need to be overcome. Before you start smearing other people's spirituality as 'cults' how about removing that splinter from your eye. So that's my hope for the next generation and despite all the derision heaped on millenials today, they are at least trying to better the condition of the planet and its inhabitants. I have one foot out the earthly door but today's young people give me hope, as does that young boy. I wish there were billions more like him.
@@janecoe9407 It’s not a cult like all these Christian cults around trying to force everyone to join. He can always leave Judaism and people won’t threaten him with condemnation because that’s not how Judaism works. I’m non religious but believe people should practice what they want as long as it’s not harmful to them or others and as long as they feel comfortable in their community.
For real he seems like an old soul❤
As a Muslim I'm very proud to see how you portray the hasidic Jew brothers. Their way of life is astoundingly pious and very fascinating. Although we are from different faiths and customs our view of the world is very similar. I sincerely hope we can put our differences behind us and treat each other like brothers and sisters under God.
NAJ.
Most of us can.But the media like to stir up the hatred.Gives bored people something to read. And sells subscriptions.
It's so heartening to hear you say that especially with the heartbreak in the Middle East right now and radical Islam making the whole religion look bad all over the west. Note that I said 'radical', not the peace loving Muslims who are a credit to any community they live in. It's religious people like you that are the hope of the earth and the path to reconciliation. I'm non religious but was brought up Catholic and wish I had faith like yours and that boy's.
I love how the younger men are allowed to hang around the older men and talk as equals.
I know right. Great.
Indeed, that's a very jewish thing because you can learn a lot from the pure mind of children. Also, when they turn 13 they are considered adults spiritually and equal spiritually, hence the bar mitzvah
That’s something you even see in secular Israel. The Jewish culture is all about merit and questioning conventions
I think they are taught to connect with God from a young age.
He probably had his barmitzvot therefore, he's seen as an adult in their community. For such a young age, what wisdom. Chaim certainly is refreshing!
That little Boy is very positive. The way of thinking is like he was on Earth before. A recantation of a wise man. Good for him!
A positive Mom and Dad a positive child. And no tv or internet to negatively influence him. You can almost guarantee that his parents only let him associate with other positive families.
He was amazing the only thing I was confused is that he is getting raised in America and his English is not very goox
@@georgetoma9167 The Chinese community in Brooklyn and manhattan doesn't have very good english either and they are in america
@@georgetoma9167 Predominately he would be speaking Yiddish, therefore English will be his second language. His school will be a Yeshiva school, attended by the same Hasidic community/Satmar sect community, where again Yiddish will be spoken. That is also why his accent is not that of a standard English speaking American; it’s similar to the way the Amish speak Pennsylvania Dutch as a first language & often have a very different accent to Americans🙂
And very intellectually educated too
As someone from a nordic country who had a completely non-religious upgringing, this world is very alien to me yet also deeply fascinating. Mankind's diversity is astounding. Peace to all.
Peace
That is such a wholesome and wonderful way to look at things. You are 100% correct.
Yes u are absolutely right. But anyway we need to respect people beliefs cultures race and religions even though we find some things might be strange or weird for us. There must be a reason behind it all.
@@noorimeldaelle3403 the (by far) fasted growing religious group, in the US and also the rest of the planet, for the most part doesn't believe there is any reason at all. Yes, that group is the "non-religious".
The Aztecs once used to sacrifice a not insignificant number of people to make the sun go up and the rain fall, at around the beginning of the Renaissance. When their culture and religion disappeared, the sun still went up and the rain still kept falling - I guess there must be a reason
Similar, I'm from Uruguay, the most secular country of the Americas (still not as much as nordic countries, but still), religiosity isn't common here AT ALL, even though religious people do exist. This is very alien but also fascinating.

That kid seems to be more insightful than grown adults I’ve met, it’s interesting how his upbringing has made him like this
In the community they learn everyone from the upbringing that all what happens is good

That almost sure was a joke.
I know they don't like it, they probably hate it. But they learned to mind their own business.
@Helen Hines In general Judaism has no problem with drug/alcohol use and many followers are positive or even partake. Hassidis can be conservative but in this regard I see no reason why he couldn't have been serious.
You could see the sarcasm in that remark but on the back end you could see he meant that's for the most part they are humans of the earth just like themselves although from another following/religion
@@rainbowthegod To the point!
That's a special young man there. He is wise beyond his years. God bless him.
This boy is so precious, snd so polite, he has a pure soul and certainly will be a great rabbi.
That young man had a lot of wisdom . The benefit of raising children away from all the foolishness. And y'all walked through the projects too!
That kid is going to be a rabbi.
He doesn’t have much choice by the looks of things
kid's gonna have a crisis when he grows up and question why he's so devoted for no reason
@@casperd2100 Well actually that is very unlikely since he is imbued with a philosophical understanding of the Transcendent which is missing in most young people today. That philosophical basis, coupled with his environment, cultural history and religious upbringing have already dispensed with the reasons one may ask at a later stage, since they are answered throughout his life. A crisis of the type you mention is far more likely among other kinds of people, secular and non-religious people, since they have no sustaining philosophy but merely float along with whatever society at large thinks is normal. So, secular people are, whatever is going on at the moment. If it is getting a tattoo then they get a tattoo, if it is an iPhone they get one, if it is going to college they do that, if it is being afraid of a virus, they do that, they do what they are effectively told. The kid in the video is instead imbued with a cultural and religious construct which is many times older than the US. His ways have stood the test of time.
Lets Hope Not

That kid is wiser than 99% of adults in the world these days. Such a clear and happy outlook at life.
Yes he indeed is Thank GD!
The young one has more spiritual connection than most adults I know.
I love the ideology of being thankful and enjoying life. Don’t be depressed as everyday you should be grateful.
Yes I got that too, I will start practice it 😊
@Captain Ron Epstein wasn't religious, he is the opposite of these people. Jews who do not keep the sabbath are considered as non-Jews according to Jewish law. In fact the non-religious Jews are some of the biggest opponents to the religious communities. There is no link between Epstein and anything Jewish.
@@seektruth581 actually the Lubavitcher Hasidim are very hospitable and reach out to non religious Jews. In fact in big cities such as NY there are big Mobiles that look like trailers where the Lubavitcher community will ask people who are walking the streets if their Jewish. They will then invite you in the mobile and put Tefillin on you and say a prayer. They also invite non religious Jews to spend a weekend with a Lubavitcher family for Shabbat weekend.
@@analogkid4957 Yes I totally agree with you, I just didn’t want this person to associate Epstein with the religious Jewish community. Of course the Rebbe accepted all Jews, religious or not and even sparked the in gathering of Jews across the world. Also he is responsible for the Noahide movement gaining traction and helping the non-Jews come to a pure faith.

Thank GD and thank you for the compliment !
Thankyou for this series. I was raised Catholic, and married a Jewish woman. Neither of us are religious, and both of us thought Hasidic Jews were weird, to different degrees. I now see them as being like everyone else, and in some ways better.

He’s sensational . He has one of those winning personalities
Chaim is so wise! I love the way he speaks about experiencing the world. Not many children have that outlook on everything we’ve been gifted by our creator (or whatever you believe in). I understand that he most likely only has this understanding of life because its based on religion, but i believe every child should be taught to be deeply grateful for the sun, the rain, the wind, the mud and soil we use to grow our food that keeps us alive. We wouldn’t exist if we were without the power of nature. You dont have to be religious to enjoy and experience with all of your senses 🙏🏽 With the mind Chaim has, i believe he’ll go very far in this world - spiritually also ❤️
Hmm, let´s be honest, he said several contradictions, basic fallacies, throughout this episode. But he´s just a young kid and he seems sweet, he´s studying.
Nothing better than a brain washed little kid

Yes. EXACTLY! U are absolutely right. I am from Singapore i am 40 years old and i am a muslim. To be very honest i really enjoy watching all the videos about the Jews. Their cultures their religion their rules

I am really enjoying this content, and learning more about the lifestyles and traditions of these people. I know this is only touching briefly on some topics, but I find them to be delightful to listen to! They seem so upbeat and wise, and there is such a sense of true community within. Quite refreshing to see, when the world seems to be falling apart at the seams, in so many ways. So glad I found this! Also, I love the young man.....I have a big smile on my face, just watching how kind and enthusiastic he is to share friendship and goodwill with others!
Wow! The boy has an understanding that pales many peoples interpretation and belief! He has not only been educated but embraced his teaching.

@Cc 712 Cant agree more
They might be nice on the outside, but their whole religion is based on superstitious nonsense. They worship a god that does both good and evil, and hope to stay close to this omnipotent needy being who begs to be constantly worshiped and thanked. They might be nice, but it has nothing to do with being a good person, they just live a robotic life where they have no subjective ideas or thoughts
@@GigiAbbi-cu9qn I think you're confusing Judaism with Christianity...
@Cc 712 I'm from the inside...it is pretty much what you see
I'll just add, obviously it's not all fruity-pie, but the whole purpose of these videos is to show what it IS like on the inside, because typically on the outside these communities seem so cold and removed, it just takes a look inisde -- like what this video shows -- to show how positive it can really be
