Just got one yesterday along with an audio pipe 3k. Running it at 2 ohm - 2300 RMS in a 3 cubic foot box tuned to 30hz. Holy god it sounds and feels so heavy. I’ve had a TON of systems, nothing can compare
I’ve never owned anything from adire audio so I cant speak on that . The X has good sound quality but could also move your steering wheel and windshield when needed. The only thing with the sundown X is that it requires too much power, it laughs at 2k.. My personal preference is the Fi audio 3.5
Not gonna lie the sundown made my jaw drop and it’s not even broken in yet . Sundown is definitely louder but the Fi sounds a bit cleaner and is more accurate. The sundown gets lower and the bass is deeper . Sundown can take a lot more power . It’s a toss up in my opinion, I’m keeping both .
@@jamal2490able Damn! I just got the MT series Fi's that are 4,500 rms.. I hope I didn't make the wrong decision. Are the box specs close or do you need a new box too?
@@lmadden6236 that sub can take a 10k so be prepared to be dissatisfied if you cant power it and 3.5.12 are strictly SQ subwoofer X series is spl oriented.
@@SaltwaterBoogeyman I bought a DC 10k for them and it'll be @.5. I still haven't received the woofers though. I ordered them black Friday. They better get nasty or Sundown it is. I had a new pair of ZV5 15's, but my ex sold them when we separated and I wasn't staying at my house.. No, I didn't think she would do me like that. She sold my new alternator too. Plain dirty.
@@lmadden6236 i think you’re gonna be satisfied with fi. I would’ve gone neo just to try something different though. I ordered a recone last Black Friday and got it 2 months later 😬 hopefully they have your woofers sooner
