They think they own the road they ride 2/3 a breast on the country lanes near us nearly causing accidents on the blind corners then act the victim! Ride the thing in a field instead of risking your life thinking your royalty
@joski9030 - Horses can be a pain, especially around where I live as there are a lot of racing stables. A while ago I was trying to catch a tacked up but riderless horse in a nearby village and a copper turned up with the jocky in their car. Cyclists riding two abreast in long columns are more of an annoyance than horses. At least for now.
@ERiC-1 - Thanks for the comment, I had to re-watch the film. The crackling sound is a strange resonance I get in the camera at about 2500 RPM on my Hornet, I changed up to keep the actual engine noice quiet and it looks like I am at 10-12 MPH at the end of the film and that is a steady speed. The wide angle camera distorts the distances involved as well. You will also see that the 4x4 in front has a similar acceleration rate.
Well, if I want a chat I park up without blocking traffic. I would usually give this situation a quick bip on the horn to make them aware that there are a couple of people want to pass, but you can't do this with a horse.
No, it was a chat, the driver and passenger were speaking to the horse rider and where it occured was a bit before the drive the car pulled into, so they must have been nearly home or to their destination.
[A quick explanation, the reply was mafe to 448ACE who said they had reported me to the Police for a crime and inplied that I had accelerated quickly and swerved to the wrong side of the road, they subsequently deleted their post after my reply] @448ACE Thanks for the comment, but I need to point a couple of things out: I can wait for a king (leg pull over predictive text in your post) The camera is mounted on my right mirror stalk and lower than my eyeline so I couldn't show the footage of the horse coming down the wrong side of the road, changing as the car approached. As discussed in another comment what sounds like fast acceleration is a resonance I get from the camera housing at about 2500 RPM, if you listen you can hear me change into second gear and at the end of the film I am doing 10-12 MPH - still behind the 4x4. As mentioned the mirror is on my mirror stalk, I am still on the left side of the road at the end of the film, I am positioning for view past the vehicle for safety and to see if an overtake can be safely made. The horse is not scared by my passing. Perhaps you can explain what crime I have committed, and also report the 4x4 as well as we have a similar acceleration? Which Police force did you report me to? I have given your reply a thumbs up to alert you to my reply to your comment, I do this for all comments on my films. By chance, are you a horse rider?

Why would you accelerate away at such a rate with a horse a metre or two behind you ?

20 sec
How long would you wait behind a car that hadn't pulled away from a green light before beeping?
Indeed, it was 14 seconds and it is the countryside where life is more sedate. Hopefully, the important meeting to be attended was not missed.
@A190xx - Thanks for watching, but as mentioned how long would you have waited behind someone at a green light before beeping?
?
!
I dont understand the issue.

@@TheRantyRider maybe they were asking directions. The pause was not ridiculous. Have patience.
