I miss prime krunker... was so fun playing that game, idk what happened to it, I recently played a few games, they added a minimap for some reason and some new maps which I don't really like... didn't really get to see the old maps that I love as well :( I wish this game would use all of its potential, the movement and the gunplay are top notch

Man, this video just hits different now. Krunker will always have a special place in my heart. I was addicted to this game for 2 years during COVID and had some of the best times of my life playing this game while chilling with my mates in a voice call for hours. I remember grinding KR for weeks, getting inspired by your trading videos to trade, or trying to build my own map. The first video I ever posted was on krunker. I remember bunking online class just to play this game. I remember being AFK on twitch to get the first twitch drops. I remember Lava Run, Arena, Trade Hub. Krunker was my childhood PC game. Love your work Kashy, thanks for this.

this video... start to finish... genuinely hurt. i almost cried, and it left me in a state of just... wow. i can't believe just a simple, silly blocked game evoked so much thought and reflection out of me, in one of the best chapters of my life growing up.
i remember starting online school just as the game began to get some kind of player base (2018) and it wholly became the only game i regularly played just because of how accessible it was to play. my only online friend at the time and i played this until they disappeared sometime in 2019, and that's when i found out that this game had an entire community behind it with the discord server being introduced to me right before the pandemic. through this, i found love with the game again as i had made so many friends, through the game, through the server, finding people with interests in these places outside of krunker, and still being relatively close with them to this day. the pandemic hit, the game had a creative explosion with so many new custom maps, introduced me to so many more friends, things to do when playing in the server vc's, and, funny enough, my first romantic interest too
when the pandemic wound down, a lot of people left the game, including myself for a while. i came back around 2022, and the game was still relatively playable, but it was just the same old game. no real content updates, i got bored rather quickly, especially since by that time i was an adult, and was finally able to buy myself a computer that could play other games. i'll never forget the memories made playing the game, teaching my then-estranged brother how to play it during the pandemic, skin trading, market arguing with the sharks and whales of krunker, and all the people truly near and dear to my heart, in the over 200+ levels ive attained through my main accounts and silly little joke alts, this game holds a very special place in my heart. truly, one of the games ever.

It was nice to see a documentary style video for the history and downfall of Krunker…for me, this video kind of acts as a final send off for this game from my mind, noting the ups and downs, the memories and scandals….the game will always have a special place in my heart, its community being the most committed, hardworking, and friendly I’ve ever had the pleasure of being apart of….❤

The nostalgia that this video gave me is unreal, i remembered memories that i didnt even know i had. I started around season two, and was kind of like really good at the game. Thank you for making this video, it really is a shame krunker has turned into what it is now.

since 2020-2021 were the best years for me. I spent 14 hours a day on krunker alone till midnight almost everyday while being in a discord vc. I miss those times.

Im glad you made this video I always wondered what happened to this game I would play it 24/7 in school and watched content creators like sorable, kappuchino, water rice, sillyaw, Kashy and undercover dudes I’ve been in streams with u kashy and sorable it was the best memories in 2022 and 2021 and the quarantine I wish you all came back and for kour I really have no interest I just want krunker I hope maybe one day this game will rise again and these og creators comes back😔

Surviv's downfall was similar- the devs handed ownership to a big publisher, they filled it with microtransactions, and down it went. Krunkers death really isn't surprising.

Really great video! It covers all the things. I've played this game off and on for years now. I quit at some point and came back with a fresh start after my accs were hacked.
It was a great game and kinda still is. I enjoy it less because most of the ppl i really spent time with in game quit. Its still addicting asf tho. Im trying to move to different games but it just doesnt feel right. Thanks for always bringing great content to the game!
On a side note u forgot to mention the minimap and the readding of the halloween event (with different drops) and the mag dump event (no idea what that was but it was fun).

Krunker really got me through Covid Lockdowns. No one will recognize me on this acc but I spend so many hours/months building Clan communities. I was getting 50/70 live viewers on my first stream and hit 2 double nukes Live which was hype. I even tried to set up a tournament to give people something fun to do when FaceIt dissapeared. However my clan / community started to die off when content creators started quitting(and the game started dying out Post-Faceit) so I was only able to raise 50,000 KR for the tourney which is kinda a lot from 0 for purely donations but it wasn't enough to get people hyped or joining the tourney.
To rub salt on the wound by the time I set it up everyone in my clan either left or got banned by KPD(I made sure no one hacked in my comp team's and tested each individual's skills). The people who dono KR quit and did not want the KR back so I gave it to a random streamer (who quit shortly after)
Idk if anyone will read this. this is my rant/story i guess. I really miss the game. The community more than anything tbh, I always tried to bring positivity to the game where I could. So sad to see it go the way it did...

Im so sad for this. I remember playing during covjd and getting scammed during trading unlocming cool ass knives playing as a tryhard watching frosstywolf even taking time to watch pro gameplay. The community parkour maps were amazing but now its just a distant memory i wish the best to every player. It does go to show that none kf the items we had were worth 0 but the community made it. Kashy Kans you were one of the first people i watched and i loved your enthusiasm to it the grind and dedication was amazing. Farwell krunker i will miss you so fucking much

We had a good run with this game didnt we. miss playing in the weeklies, being able to say iv been around the comp scene since march of 2019 has never hit so hard. from getting NFTs in late night calls with you to donating a ton of subs to you as well as other random streamers back in 2021 to help support the CCs pushing the game. Good times man good times. dont be sad because its over but be glad it happened

Wow Insane video got back to krunker 2 weeks ago. I stopped playing around in early 2023 but ive been playing for quite sometime. I used to play moomoo at the begenning of covid but a friend told me to play krunker i played it was a zombie map and i played for a few hours. I kept playing moomoo. But one day I wanted to play krunker and I was hooked I stopped playign but when faceit came I played 24/7. Now im just playing cause of nostolgia hope that krunker becomes great again.

I remember in v1.2.1, Kivoka (known as Friendship at the time), accidentally DMd me an invite to a scrim game. That's how I originally started lol. This video was a trip to see w/ all of the old custom maps I had loved at the time. I'm glad you did an awesome job at accurately portraying the history of Krunker. I would have forgotten about a lot of the things you mentioned in the video! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't addicted to Krunker up until I quit after ghosties were given out to our raid group.
I appreciate you (and all the other friends of mine that I met via Krunker) for providing an irreplaceable (quite literally lol) experience

I miss the game because it’s the first game I had fun with friends with in the 8th grade, and now it’s dead when I’m in high school and have a good computer
amazing video. it's such a shame to see krunker just... gone. i started playing in very late season 3 and i got so attached to the game, reaching lvl 240+ on my main. it had so much potential, but it was ruined by a greedy company and laziness.
i'm still grateful for all the great times and to sid and tehchy for the game and Vince and his team for all the amazing skins that pushed me to play the game this much. this game had a truly unique vision, and had really unique and beautiful items. o7 i'll miss it

Krunker really used to be the only game id really play. Used ro be a huge gamer but when i started playing krunker in 2019 no other game felt as good even the triple A tittles i saw less interesting then krunker. Used to play it every single day. I got scouts mastery i almost got smg mastery. Lvl 99 rn. I traded up to an intervention XI i was KPD i got so much fun met so many good people on this game. I watched the krunker twitch a lot like when i was sick and stuff. I really hoped FRVR was a good update but it just dissapointed me. Leading to me quitting the game even tho it was so damn hard to let krunker go. I build so many memories from it w my friends we used to play it so much. Its sad its over....
I remember playing krunker for the first time in 2019. It was very fun especially with my friends. However, when krunker started to fall, it felt as if I had lost something that was most important to me....But I thank krunker and everyone who made it for giving me a nostalgic and fun childhood experience.

Krunker was a part of my life, especially in Covid times. Most time during Covid-19 I spent for this game, with my friends and all my classmates as well, I still remembered that my friends created many groups and competed with other classes, they spent time for Krunker even more than CSGO or Valorant at that time, I remembered the years 2020-2021.
I really miss Krunker. I was one of the og players playing in season 1 and season 2 and I was a comp player for like a year or so and I have to say Krunker was my favorite game I remember playing the game after I get out of school and stuff watching streamers play made me want to play more the game had alright content at the time when I was playing I was playing the game everyday 24/7 and dropping nukes at the time was a surprise to me and I only quit because I got banned from comp randomly and I still dabbled in Krunker a little dropping nukes here and there but never really played the game that much I just left the game and I thought Krunker was doing pretty good after I left and after I installed a krunker client LAF and see how its going there was no krunker streamers streaming the game was dead I don't even think my region even had like 200 players playing no one was playing the custom games all because FRVR decided to say "hey lets make this game a facebook game with no sliding and you have to pay for skins" I really do feel bad for the old team, the team that started all, and now all of them have left. Idk about Sidney though, but dang how a great, really great game that had so much potential fell because of 1 company, no content, and no content creators.
i think you forgot to mention that they also ruined comp tournaments by stopping the funds (which also killed krunker comp). Btw they added back 0 ADS (but who cares now 🤡🤡)
What happened to Krunker is honestly so upsetting, I remember grinding the hell outta this game back in 2020, getting nukes, trading items, it was awesome :(
Now everything about this game just seems dead, the content creation scene is dead, the game itself died quite a bit, it just doesn't feel the same

It's incredibly disappointing to see how the community suffers under a company that is only after money. Krunker seems to have stopped caring about the community, players, or even the hackers for a long time. All they seem to want is money, money, money. Nevertheless, I have immense respect for the developers who still worked on the game because they saw its potential. It's really sad to see how a community can be torn apart by people who are only after money.
Krunker will always have a special place in my heart. It may sound strange, but through Krunker, I have met some fantastic people, people I could even call my friends. the main reason I quit krunker is because I got falsely banned. and trust me over months, I tried appealing but they wouldn't respond because they "don't talk to hackers". It's actually insane.
This video really shows me that how being a corporate company would ruin a game, thank you for making this video, and it's sad that Krunker had to go down this way, I still remember the time where I grind this game a lot back in 2020 where many content creators such as UCD and Frostywolf were making content and live streaming this game, now all of them are gone now :(
great video, i genuinely miss the days of just playing pubs, getting nukes, running clans in clan wars, custom games and maps also they were so fun, and such a great community, you just don't get a lot of simple games with as much variety as prime krunker, i hope that some games can achieve what krunker had (and not blatantly rip off the game either haha you know what im talkin about)

frvr absolutely killed this game. This game had so much potential with things like the alien event, raids, etc and frvr threw it in the trash for money.
I took a break from 2020 until just last year, and I was stunned to see just how bad the network latency was, hacker filled & transaction coded it had become in those three years away. For a game that's legitimately given me the tetris effect on multiple occasions, it's so sad to see how it has fallen from what used to be such a long winded and satisfying experience
DAm man this hour was worth it, i see when i played for the first time krunker it was awesome i didnt saw any problems the streamers and comunity were unique but after the years i saw very much things happening like trading, skins, new settings etc. Now in 2023 the game was going down but i literally played the most in that year, it was good to play krunker with yall (ty kashy)

basically keemstar wanted a % of the game to promote it and big large esport teams to the game, Sidney declined so thats why the faze clan disbanded and keemstar didnt do a tournament

I got a friend on krunker who managed to get the gold plated akimbo. I didnt knew that all the gold plated items were owned by only 4 people. That is just crazy

I would like to add that I believe one of the 3rd party clients logged username and passwords (supposedly some big content creators as well)
and users have lost their accounts and completely been hacked. Account recovery wouldn't work as it is a yendis e-mail that is not used anymore.

Good Video albeit some issues is when you cut to other youtubers or streamers playing/talking it's oddly quiet. And I feel like the Frosty Chapter is a bit misleading due to it being called: Frosty Banned. And it just states he left not if he got banned and why.
