I wanna change mine also but after watching you remove it I think in addition I'll use wooden shims on both sides and slowly hit 'em slowly equally ...

Just bought a 2018 lariat sport and theses videos have motivated me to "personalize" the truck. Love how you guys break it down step by step!.

Thank you for this video!! I am getting ready to do my emblems, and yeah Aces brother man on the instructions. Really appreciate the time you took explaining the steps. Next up weekend emblem swap for my 17' XLT SuperCrew 🇺🇸🤙🏻

Another suggestion for removing the excess glue is to use Goo Gone on a rag. This makes the process much easier.

All I did to take my fender badges off was I use fishing line went behind it to break the 3M tape and then stuck my head down the back and pushed out and then used a the panel removed tool or whatever the the hell it's called and it worked perfectly fine

Nice video. Everything was broken down nicely and there was no "filler". I was very impressed with how well everything came out. I have a 2019 Magma Red F-150 and would love to color match by King Ranch badges and F-150 emblems. Thank you.

Would it had helped to heat that up first to soften the glue on the tape?

I am late to the party but did you paint the black parts or just the chrome. Truck looks amazing.

Your hand will fit in to access the tabs. I have chunky hands and was still able to get in there, albeit at a weird angle. You will not be able to see what you're pinching, you will just have to do it by feel

Looks good. You should've went black. I ordered OE emblems today (gloss black) for $229 for my '20 Lead Foot Lariat. I did my fair share back in the day of prepping and painting. Time is money lol.
One more thing: DO NOT LOWER THE TRUCK!

@@joed4753 he wants black bumpers as well. Not real sure how we’re going to tackle that just yet. Painted bumpers don’t last they flake easily and look terrible but who knows. Any suggestions?
