    Congratulations on 57k!
    Ive been watching countless of your videos and I have to say this one was exceptionally well made. From the intro (showing around activities, classrooms, lectures, places around the campus), to the historical aspect of the university - which itself encompasses plentiful meanings and is a distinguishing factor from other universities, the part where you introduced the American friend where you show the cafes for chilling, my God that rooftop, the different activities in the city such as biking, walking around parks and those guys surfing lmao. In the second last part, I like how you brought it back to the main topic with a more in-depth view of studying, seminars, entry-exams, student engaging projects,, overall a more serious environment. The last part with the bars and hanging out is a nice blend.
    Great video, glad you guys made this one :)

      as a law student at lmu I am paying around 120€ each semester. however, the difficulty is to find an accommodation which you can pay for, atleast in munich. english is in some courses a possible language to choose.

    • @Sa-hq9vx
      @Sa-hq9vx Před 5 lety +2

      In Germany in general there is no tuition fee at all. You only have to pay something for the student administration. In Munich it is around 130€ per Semester and it's highly likely that you need to buy the ticket for public transportation which is around 200€ per Semester. And with that you can go anywhere with whatever public transport in and around Munich.
      So the university doesn't cost anything and the prices that come up while studying are not too high.
      But and here's the point where it gets really expensive: living costs.
      Munich is a very expensive city, so it will be very hard to afford living in Munich, especially as a student. It is highly likely that one has to work while studying and even then it will be hard. Rents are insanely high and they get even higher every year and it is really difficult to even find an apartment.
      But on the other side there are tons of foreign and exchange students in both universities, so that's nothing that can't be managed.
      Some courses, especially master courses are offered in English but it's always recommended to learn the language of the country you're studying at. And for most courses at least basic German knowledge is required. But there are some only in English, it would be best, if you look if the course you want to study is offered in English.
