- Join me as we venture up Edward's Branch Line on board said engine himself. How many episode references can you spot along the way?
Music by the eminent Pianist and Composer/Arranger and all round nice guy Dave Brubeck.

This video is really cool .Seeing a branch line as an engine would see it .I’m sure that choo choos like passing farms and other country scenes as much as I’ve enjoyed riding in a car through Nebraska and Kansas . Farmland is beautiful!
This was amazing! I've never seen Edward's branch line like this. Please do more like this.
I gotta say, Edward has probably one of the most beautiful Branchlines in the NWR. Other than the Little Western and the Ffarquhar Branch. He gets a beautiful countryside with his Branch.
Very nice indeed. I appreciate the increasing emphasis on realism in the IOS project. Although it's nice to be able to recreate favorite scenes from the old TV series, it bothered me that older versions never felt like a real railway. This version though, bar a few crossovers that still look too sharp, like those at the mainline junction, feels quite believable. I could happily see myself in the compartment of a coach trundling through this countryside at 25mph or so.
I also enjoyed the length of this route, another failing of older IOS versions, which had major landmarks sort of cramped together with very little space in between. Here though we have a nice long run with plenty of room to let the engines stretch their legs. As soon as I have a compy that can do TRS12 justice, I'll definitely look into this version of IOS, or whatever progression has come out by that time.
This is so cool! All the effort that went into this and the accuracy is amazing! I loved the music too!
This is amazing to watch! It feels like zooming down the branchline with such grace.
References I saw:
*Diesel pushing the china clay trucks like in "Diesel Does It Again"
*Thomas with Annie and Clarabel lined up side-by-side like in "Percy, James and the Fruitful Day" and "Sir Topham Hatt's Holiday"
*Percy in the pile of dirt like in "Percy Runs Away"
*Bertie fuming at the gates like in "Bertie's Chase"
*James scowling at Edward like in "Old Iron"
Ding-Ding-Ding-Ding-Ding. We have a winner.
Yay! What do I get?
BNSF1995 YOU GAET NATHING
HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?!
@@Trainlover1995 what prize did you expect? you were only supposed to guess Previous episode references. and you did. i also noticed one: One good turn: the brendam shunting yard appears.
I loved it! And the route looks absolutely marvelous! I've always wanted to see what Edward's branchline looked like from an engine's point of view. But how long did it take that engine to go across the whole branchline? And which engine did you use?
Brilliant. Bravo and +1 that. Always wanted to see one of these!
Lovely video, enjoyed it thoroughly!
This is amazing! Thank you for sharing this great content
James is not impressed by your arrival.
James: "Late Again!"
Edward laughs
Edward is impossible. He clanks about like a lots of old iron and he's so slow he makes us wait.
Wait, I thought that Edward ran from Wellsworth to lower brendham, not brendham docks
Yay! another Point Of View video, please make more!
I'd love to do the Skarloey Railway or the Mainline but don't hold your breath. Those sections of the IOS still have to be made. Thanks for commenting.
Cool :)
Do one of these for The Little Western Branch line aboard Duck or Oliver!!!plz...
late again Edward laughed
after James had finished his work, he puffed back to the yard.
May I ask how you can do this? I'd love to be able to do something similar, but I'm not sure how. Great video all the same!
Yeah sure. All you have to do is download the flying cam off the DLS. In surveyor mount the flying cam to the front of your train. Open up your recording software (I use Fraps). Jump into the cab of the flying cam and record the train going down the line. Open the file in your video editing software (I use Sony Vegas) and speed up the footage (you may have to research how to do this).
Hope this helps,
Wellsworth Studios
Does James and his coaches make a reference to OLD IRON?
Why aren't Suddery and Upper Brendam stations on this route?
Plz do more
What Edward would see if he ran 125 MPH
I'm new to trainz, like REALLY new what's this map?
didn't you have one of these for Thomas'?
Wheres the branch line at 2:14 going?
DiabaseDog XXI The Mainline Loop
TheArlesdaleEngine That's actually the junction to Suddery harbour, which is just a small port.
Thomas Tugs Fan well that could be on the mainline loop
TheArlesdaleEngine Not really. This Si3d IOS doesn't follow the official TVS map (so there's no Tobys line, Ulfstead line or Killdane line, etc). The branch from 2:14 just goes to the little port I mentioned and just that, that port is the only thing there with no other line from the main line connecting to it at all.
@@thomastugsfan8463 that means the trainz route is not following the NWR 100 %. for example it has Tidmouth on Ffarquhar branch line (between Knapford and Elsbridge); the journey from Knapford akes you go to Elsbridge, no matter if you are travelling via main line or thomas´s branch line; Wellsworth station is reversed; Drayw of Thomas' line goes AFTER Elsbridge when it is supposed to be vice versa and what makes me mad most: trainz has Callan station on Duck's TLW Branch Line (The Little Western). Callan is on The Misty Valley Branch Line.
where do the junctions at 1:09 and 1:10 lead to?
kaldes yzdi That junction goes to the Clay pits based on S2 and S5.
thanks. and that straight track at 1:08?
@@kaldesyzdi595 That goes to the "One Good Turn" yard.
@@thomastugsfan8463 ok. i know what place R U refering to: it's the SY where Bill and Ben started to quarrel due to that turntable scene. i call it Brendam Yard. do u?
according to ttte wikia it is Upper Brendam Yard (i think it's better than calling it 'Wellsworth Yard' because WY isn't the same location)
lol a train would crash at that speed
