- In this video from the 2021 Cruisin' The Coast Event held on the Mississippi Gulf Coast I catch up with this very cool 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Pro Street car...White over Red color combination is iconic and on this 57 Chevy the Red was laid over White primer to give a already bright Red a little more POP!...Just a beautiful looking car in the Mississippi Sunshine...The interior is mostly tubs..lol..No back seat and two custom race type seats in the front...The car has all the creature comforts one could want...Power windows...Air...Nice stereo...Packaged in a very fitting race inspired interior. Wheels are always personal choice and no one set will please everyone...The stance and wheel choice is nailed on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air from the 2021 Cruisin' The Coast Event in My opinion. Under the custom hood is a supercharged 427 making around 1100 HP...Tube chassis and all the best to go with that to make sure a trip to the local Burger Joint is fast and safe...The Tri Five Chevrolet is a car that is has been done and redone....They are everywhere....This one is different...I know You will love it as much as I did...Check it out!!!

Cool '57 ....................... 👍👍👍
I agree Brother!!
This is one exceptional car Scottie. This car stands out in all the right places. This car is a candidate for Great Eight, Dirty Dozen...Something Scottie. High Fives too all involved in this awesome creation. Grand Slam Homer outta the park.
I hear ya...It was in the ScottieDTV Dirty Dozen...and a booth car at SEMA...it has done well since I first shot it!!
That car is a DREAM ♥️♥️♥️
I agree...Very cool for sure!!
Budget, we don't need no stinking budget where were going.
I blew my engine at the TRI5s in 2021. As soon as I got home I had it torn down and analyzed.
I started with a budget of $5000 to fix it and now were a year and a half into this and just blew by the $50,000, mark like it was chump change. Thank God that I have a sponsor that has stepped up big time.
This is one of thee nicest Pro-Street 57s in the country or maybe the world. Im guessing every bit of $300-400K and maybe a half a million. And worth every penny.
Thanks for checking it out!!
Scottie, This is one very bad ass ‘57 Chevy. Very cool build. If this was my car I’d Drag Race it at least one time especially with 1100 horsepower under the hood
Unleash the beast.......to each his own.....but I know I would.
I hear ya Brother.....I don't blame Him for not doing it...But I would have to at least make a couple of passes....

If there is a will there is a way...lol...Thanks for checking it out Mike!
Scottie, love your ‘57 Bel Air. I had one in HS when I was 17 (1966).
I would do everything you did on this car, but, I would paint it Surf Green with the white top. That’s the color mine was. Don’t get me wrong, red looks awesome, but, my color would bring back so many wonderful memories. Of course, I wouldn’t chrome the glove box door, if you know what that was for. 😮
Glad You liked it Brother...It's not mine though..I wish!! lol Thanks for checking it out!!
Oh yeah, that’s a bad ass 57

@@ScottieDTV he talked about running out of money…? Ive helped in a C/F wheel tubs install on a race car to reduce weight but were very very expensive.. just Sayn ❤️

lol...I'm very blessed Brother...Glad You enjoyed this one!!!
Imagine that you're 19 years old, you had connections and got a job in a steel plant, you trade your 51 Chevy fastback in on a brand new 57 Chevy Belair Hardtop white over red, the most famous color in years to come, you are starting to modify it and have it lowered 3 in back and four in front (southern California style in those days, called a 'rake,') 57 Dodge spinner caps, chrome side pipes along the sides below the doors and fenders, and things are going good. You even cruise once in a while with Ricky Nelson, who you met won't bother with details here, and he and you cruise sometimes in Hollywood and the Valley, he in his white 57 Fury and you in your white over red Belair. Then one day you are laid off at the steel mill, and the only jobs you can find during the depression of 57-58 is back to the gas stations. Bye bye Chevy, hello Army. That was me, then. So then I see this white over red 57 and it all comes crashing back.
Thanks for Your service! Go Army!!
0:10 Sound check?!,,,,🧐,,,,
lol...Glad You liked it!
I wouldn't call it a super charged .
I would say
427 with
magnum blower.
Blower sounds better.
I think when modern people say liters followed by
super charged. Rather than cubic inches then blower.
It just sounds cheesy and makes the car sound weak.
Cool!
