The fact these bags can be faked and sold at a fraction of the price just shows how much the luxury brands are ripping people off. Yes quality and materials might not be the same but some dupes are pretty good. I’ve wasted so much money on designer bags and, as a 50 year old, could have bought another house or many *esluxs* with what I’ve spent. My advice is to only buy if you can afford it plus other important things and don’t necessarily turn your nose up at a dupe!

I agree with the fact that it's not exactly environmentally friendly BUT she stated first and foremost that she's vegetarian, so she's a lot concerned about the animal aspect of leather. In this case, she is right in her opinion on not purchasing real leather. (And I'm very sure you won't find vegan leather bags in hong kong faux designer remakes, so this decision would only be plausible if that was an option or what she even set out to do.)

As a vegeterian myself, i can't understand how you can support this king of industry. For many reason it's so bad. Stealing someone's ideas / designs is not ethical at all. Plus this kind of stuff won't last, so it will be a plastic waste one day. Fast fashion industry is very bad for the environnement, and the animals who live in it. Better buy second hand. Obviously she buys what ever she wants, but i cannot agree when she justifies it by being a vegeterian...

Awesome job! I grew up in the Philippines and we would shop at markets like this all the time. The walking off was my best tactic - sometimes I would walk away totally and come back! They were always willing to meet me then!
