our gov't borrows half of all the money it spends and has no savings account for some reason so we're $23.3T in debt (~$80k per citizen including children)-- it would take 8 years of the total annual economic output of the US to pay that back. 100% taxes for everyone and $0 gov't spending. think about that next time you think we're the richest country in the world.

He kept utility companies from turning off people's heat in the winter, and set up the National Cancer registry, just to name of few of the "actions" he has taken. We wouldn't have received the first stimulus check if it wasn't for him. He has advocated time and again for the American people and has been way ahead of the curve in having the right ideas, decades before his contemporaries.

Foreign aid is part of an annual bill. It would happen anyways, but it’s attached to the stimulus bill because that’s just how it worked out this year. The money for foreign aid isn’t even 10 percent of what it would take to do the one time 2000 stimulus check.

I remember when he was a lone voice that the media mostly ignored. He has changed this country for good. Everything he does from here on out is gravy. Building a movement, changing the conversation, supporting new progressives in getting elected, have taken heroic uphill pushing for many years. Who else tells the truth? Now, if we can just educate the public in how the monetary system actually works, we can change big things, create more balance and equity, and address all of the major crisis barrelling toward us. I just cry daily over this. I lost my job not because of covid but because I got stage 4 cervical cancer with mets to my bladder and could not work while taking daily radiation and chemo. Then my insurance dropped me over suspicious terms right after my diagnosis, I was denied for medicaid because my husband works and now has to support himself, me and our 4 children. I've never received government benefits before but I had no choice but to try. And I was denied for that as well. Now we are $400,000.00 in debt so far because of me being sick, we can't afford the medicine I'm supposed to take monthly. And we also have a special needs toddler who is completely immobile and has cerebral palsy . My husband has to work so we can eat. I'm to sick and cant go out around covid or I will die if i get it so i cant take her to her visits she needs. Our waters been shut off 3x and turned back on with family help. But now we are loosing our home and noone can just take in a family of 6. 1 of which has stage 4 cancer and the other a toddler who is severely special needs and needs 24/7 care. We can't afford rent here anymore. The landlord just wants us out. And we have no money in our banking account or savings to move. None. I suffer with severe pain and nausea because I cant get to appointments when I need to because my husband cant take off to keep our 4 kids and we cant afford the medicine when it's written for me. Raising the checks to $2000.00 would allow us to stay in our home or find a cheaper one and move in it. We are having to choose between food, health care and a home. In America this should not happen. And I'm not alone.others are suffering just as much. I've never felt so alone in my life. I wish I could tell my story to them with my babygirl in my arms so they can put a face to the numbers they see. That we are real families trying our best. Doing all we can. That we had to buy food instead of Christmas gifts. No choice. We aren't looking for a handout just for a little help to keep our kids in a safe home and fed. I'll be ok without my medicine. I can handle it but I cant handle having to tell my kids weve lost our home or why mommy and daddy dont eat at the same time as then anymore. Because theres usually not enough for us and we want them to eat. This is real. People need help. Please don't ignore the ones in need. Please.

@CosmicDamian he couldn’t run as an independent. Rules changed after Ross Perot ran as 3rd party. Republican & Democrat parties agreed to keep any 3rd party candidates off the debate stage. Without visibility, he would have lost regardless. That’s why no 3rd party is on the debate stage. It’s a threat to the 2 party system. Ross almost won that year. It freaked out the establishment.
