Post just showing out in Olympic practices, and being deemed a generational talent in a 1 n done era, what are the odds that he stays? He can play 10 or so games like Kyrie even and still be a top 3 pick, as long as he plays well and continues to show promise on both ends of the floor. He'll have the NIL funding, but 22 is considered somewhat aged for prospects now, so the sooner, the better if one has the opportunity to get drafted early as a freshman.

Y, I do believe the Bulls are "tanking" without saying they are. They know the last several years has been a disaster, and the way forward is with a solid star.

The Bulls are going to be worse. The roster is not as good, but there are multiple young players with potential. If instead of a 14% of a top pick the Bulls have a 7.5% but comes with some combination of growth from Giddey, Coby, Ayo, Patrick, and Matas, then you take it. There are no saviors. You need a multitude of good players to get out of this. The Bulls will have to make a decision on extending Giddey. Coby and Ayo are on great deals, but are in year two of three year deals. You can't make good decisions on their long-term potential (and next contract) if you trot out Dalen Terry and Marcus Domask to assure you a 14% of the top pick and a 50% of the 5th pick (the Pistons serve as a warning sign on this issue).
I have doubts that Zach will make it through the season healthy. I don't see the Bulls being bad enough to get the #1 pick. I can see Portland, Wizards, Pistons, or Hornets, Spurs finishing bad enough to get the #1 pick. I thought this guy was a quarterback when i first heard his name mentioned. He was a football name. I want to see Matas, J Phill, Ayo, Dalen, P Will, and Coby ball out.

Sorry, but I’m not a fan of tanking in any sport. You cannot teach young players to lose on purpose. How are they gonna get better and learn about winning if you tell them we’re thinking you have to install a winning mentality in them. That’s my opinion and I played sports professionally for a while even if it wasn’t for very long play hard and let the chips fall. There’s no guarantee you’re gonna get the number one pick anyway.
