[Nephew of Ida] Little tip for beginners: If you cannot find the column template, go up in the folders from "Engiish_I" to "English". There it is. I had this problem in Revit 2019.

But the Greek column has a wider base than top to offset parallax. That central portionwd have to be modelled as a Revolve

Can you do a video explain revits tools, like the void tools, the reference plain, pick a plan. I see you use them a lot but I don't understand when or even to use them to create anything.

why is my nested family doesn't load into a main family? thanks
Having trouble with creating custom column based on your method.
The only difference from yours was the top crown I created in Ceiling Plan, then load into the column base family file which i created previously.
The problem I have now is the top crown doesn't move up and down, only side ways when I locked both top reference lines as per you did @12:30.
The error message I received from REVIT: Constraints not satisfied. Please help.
And also tell me at last when u extrude the height of the column why u create new reference at the time of align ?? And locked them simultaneously...thanku
When u create upper part of this column why u create that part below the reference plane plz telle the Funda of this
[Nephew of Ida] At 10:26 I gave up. If I am with the "Avoid" at the pillar wants to make the "array", then the other Family parts no longer visible. No circle, no plate with helix members. I also moved the "Avoid" by 5mm. No chance.You only see a cross with dashed lines and the Revolve symbol. Perhaps it is a bug. I have the latest version of Revit 2019. Usually a wonderful program, I'm sure. Does anyone have any idea how to make the other parts visible again during "Array / circular"? Or is it a "visibility" setting I messed up?
for some reason when i do the top part it doesn't cut a circle out but builds a circle when I do the array. Any idea why it would do this?

Hi Balkan how r u hope Ur fine I want u to ask one thing in this column family once u choose to Create upper part of colum u choose upper reference level nd when u create lower part why u creating column from lower reference level plz tell me

Before you make a component in Revit, you must understand how they work. The column is incorrect becasue there is no enthasis on the column. Research before you create incorrect content.
