Was a great rig,for running the I-95 corridor,pulling a 48’refer. Except for cold weather. Even with the A/C on and I can’t hear much without hearing aids.😊 Would leave right now if you handed me the keys an a stack of BOL’s.😊
Beautiful Chevy titan 90, you can tell it doesn't have a turbo by the way the exhaust pipes are arranged. Too bad about the damage to the front of the cab.
Good looking truck. The only way you could drive a Detroit correctly was to slam your arm in the door first thing in the morning so you was pissed off all day. Love the sound of an old Screaming Detroit .
70s or early 80s Chevy Titan. Most likely a 318. 318 is 8v71. The 350 was the same but with a turbo. 8V71T. All 2 stroke Detroits had a blower. They needed the blower to run. Then they put a turbo on top of the blower. I ran many of them. I learned on a Brockway with a 318 and a 13 speed. Had a General with a 350/13 spd. A Pete with an 8V92TA... 430 with 15 OD trans. They were fun. Loud. Got bad fuel economy and used oil. But I still loved them. Had to keep them wound up tight.
I owned a '71 GMC Astro that looked just like that - if it sounded like that, I never would have bought it !!! ( I hope nobody is asleep on that street - because they aren't NOW !!! )
Nothing beats no Detroit sounds great I love the cab over I've driven a few they're cool❤👍🇺🇲😎🏆
