I'm really late, but I can say that this is the case in most languages nowadays. I'm from Germany and can barely say a sentence without an English word in it.
Maybe this is just something among the people around me but many teens even speak only English just for fun.

But I guess it depends on their personality because some idols scream out English without caring about the grammar while the other speak only if they're sure what they're saying is correct. why do i find it so hilarious that they're over pronouncing their korean in order not to speak english as if they forgot they usually speak korean anyways haha
Even if they usually speak Korean there are some words heard to translate so it's better to say them in their original language and some people also grew up using mixed language and they're just too used to it take me for example I am Hispanic but most Puerto Ricans speak Spanglish a mix of English and Spanish
They’re not just English words at this point, loanwords are a core part of the korean language. So many loanwords are much more common to say in korean than the korean equivalents.
Their usual answers would have included words like debut, Performance. So a little bit of English.
Actually, Korean is now 20% loan words.
I mean American is 99% loan words so who cares really lol

This interview is impressive. I've watched so many ATEEZ interviews and just in general have seen many Kpop interviews given that I've been into Kpop since 2011. This one is noticeably different from most. It was fun and executed well, and the MCs were amazing at keeping the vibe good. I'm thoroughly impressed. I hope ATEEZ can come back on DKDKTV in the future.
