Akshay is still living in an illusion. The audience now demands original and good stories and great acting which is the main reason why most films of Bollywood are just bombing at the box office. If larger-than-life movies were the reason, then Kantara, Karthikeya 2 and The Kashmir Files would not have got successful. Moreover, people don't criticise because you do a lot of films; they criticise bcoz you don't give justice to any role given to you like what Ramcharan and Jr. NTR have given to their roles in RRR.

I am happy to see the interest of Ramcharan in cinemas of other Indian languages specially Bengali. Bengali literature & films already have a very rich legacy . Bollywood also got so many awesome performances from Bengal & several Bengali films have been remade/ films based on Bengali stories in Hindi before which turned out to be a good classic cinema for ever.Waiting to watch Bengal & South Industries collaboration in future as well.
What Bengali films ? I haven't heard any.. can you tell some name? Or Indian movies which were copied or inspired from Bengali movies
@@Gaaaraa There is a whole legacy of Bengali cinema in India. It has given us our only Oscar-winning director Satyajit Ray. There are a lot of great directors, writers, actors and actresses Bengali cinema produced. Bengali cinema has the highest number of national awards.
I will advise you to watch "PATHER PANCHALI". It is a part of the 'Apu Trilogy' directed by Satyajit Ray.
In Hindi remake, I will advise you to watch "BALIKA BADHU". It is Hindi remake of Bengali film with the same name directed by the same director.
You can also watch "SATRANJ KE KHILADI (THE CHESS PLAYER)". It is a Hindi film directed by Satyajit Ray.
I have watched just a few Bengali films of yesteryear and I am now their big fan.
Unfortunately, now Bengali cinema is like a dead horse. So, you don't listen anything about them.

I liked in this interview the humbleness and innoncency of Ram Charan sir.
We can understand Akshay sir's frustration, we glad to hear that you are doing extraordinary hard work, making more movies in less span etc.. but when there is no CONTENT or no MATTER what is the use of film making and creating losses to the industry... SS Rajamouli makes hardly 1 movie in 3 yrs span, because he strives for good quality..not every movie requires 3 years but good quality time to be utilized to produce good quality content..

Ram Charan impressed with his humility and insights. Akshay Kumar was careful not to comment on recycling of content and poor quality of films like Pruthviraj. Audience will not respond warmly to assembly line products made with little involvement and professionalism. And if the big stars reduce their huge salaries the trickle effects will roll down to budgets and ticket prices.

we only criticise whom we want to see succeed. Whom we dont expect to do anything, you wont find any suggestions, only negative comments. Hope he understands this and works on it. Even though it is sad to see him reject HP3, it is worse to find that he didnt like the script. Ideally they should've taken notes and feedbacks so that they could work better on the script. Instead they chose to recast. This could only happen if they thought of profits instead of a good story, cinema experience, and serving the fans of this amazing franchise. Even the 2nd part was just a movie made only to cash in on the previous movie instead of actually working on a better script.
I also heard that he rejected the movie due to the longevity of the project. Irrespective of the reason, if the script is actually good, the movie can work on theatres, but it has to be really amazing. If the script was even equal to the 2nd part, it will tank for sure.
HP3 script is not good. When HP3 was announced , a skit was done to reveal additional actor John and Arashd. It was poor. You can check it on CZcams.
If you r interested in why HP worked whereas HP2 felt like it lacked something than watch Cinemaan HP vs HP2. He gave wonderful explanation.
Well Phir Hera Pheri is seriously funny though. It made the characters more animated hence took a bit of the soul of the first part, but they did a good job in making it work though.

Akshay's point of doing a film ni 40 days is not totally wrong even many Hollywood blockbusters many indian blockbusters were made in 40-50 days but it all depends on directors vision and pre-production work if these two aspect are handled well it will all be sorted . Acting is well small yet prominent part of film but you can't act 2-3 years on a film if its pre-production and vision is bad it will go flop
