That's always the case for every vsai though. The players gets better at the game and by the time the next tournament comes out, some players wont be able to team up anymore due to the changes in their points

@@lqfr8813 technically CR member is not a vtuber, no? I don't remember much about every participant so correct me if I'm wrong but CR members are not allowed to join because they're considered as pro players/streamers.

Aki got many connection since her vcr ark last year and she keep that connection alive with a lot collab, I guess ShibuHal judge that her stream would benefit VSai because of it
Also, I think ShibuHal needs to balance who to invite from any agency, bc the slot for leader invitation is just 20 right? Like vspo, niji, holo, and his own agency neo porte, and others. It's a different case if I'm mistaken that the invitation is for all players and not just the team leader? Because Laplus can join like last time when she got invited by Sumire as her team member, if any team leader decides to invite her.
what makes this a surprise, usually the one that got invitation is not newbie like Aki but more veteran or just longtime apex player. aki should be training hard if she doesn't want to become burden to her teammate. from my knowing of her she isn't really good with fps which reliant to reflex and reaction time but she got 2 months for it

A lot comment doesn't understand this, but the one who got a letter invitation is the leader and creating their own team. So its not like she doesn't have a chance to participate because some team still need low point player if the team have duo predator/master.
she can always dm Kobo to play valorant together if she don't really mind the language"barrier". since back then they play together few times.
She has friends to play with it's just they're operating on streamer hours and laplus tends to play earlier

Since Laplus likes to play shooting games but find certain ones like Overwatch hard to play makes me wish she would give Splatoon a serious go (she only ever tried it once with the Holomem afaik). I think she'd do great in Splatoon and she could play with Aki, Flare and IRyS as well.
I'm happy that she found her audience on Twitch and made connections with various content makers, but I wish she would go back to collab with her fellow Holomem (especially her own holoX gen mates) a bit more. It's good that she still regularly shows up and interact with Holomems in Hologra and such, but otherwise, it feels she's drifting further from her own agency at times.
I do agree with a lot of your points, but in terms of collabs with holomems. I think Laplus and HoloX like the HL Gens before them are becoming busier and busier as time goes on, so it's less likely that they're able to collab together as a group.
For instance look at Myth, prior to the OneBlock Minecraft streams they hadn't collabed together in months to almost a year in some cases. You can pretty much count the amount of collabs they have together in a year with one hand.
Not to mention HoloX also have different interest in games, majority of Laplus' genmates prefer rpgs while she prefers Fps (specifically valorant).
I do hope that Laplus is able to collab more often with other HLmems though.
I think the other issue that not many Holomems play Valo, from the top of my head I can only name: Laplus, Roboco, Ayame, Shion, Matsuri, and Kobo
Ayame streams like 2-5 times a month, Shion is on hiatus and she almost never streams valo, and the rest barely stream valo, idk if they even play valo offstream.

In any case, I just would like to see holoX collab in particular, not only because I simply want to see more of Laplus, but also because they’re not just gen mates but part of the same secret society, so I just want to see them interact with each other all the more.
@@Fishman465 Of course there is, but it's what Laplus primarily plays and enjoys. She's mostly been playing Valorant or LoL and occasionally she'll stream other games (rarely).
I'd say 90% of her clips on twitch is either LoL or Valorant, and recently Chained Together (would be great if HoloX could play together).
@@oak8194 Yea I agree 100%, it's honestly a shame, but I think that's the reality of HL becoming really popular. Each member has busy schedules from sponsorships and collabs with other companies or games, to pursuing their own interests and ideas.
I think the most we see any HL generation collab is when they're first introduced up until about their 1st year of streaming. Otherwise they either stream solo or if they do collab it's with other HLmems outside of their gen or just a couple of their genmates.

I mean, why not pay for a coach and do it as a content on stream? Training arcs are really good. You have a rookie, trained and be pred all on stream, I think she'll be good enough to be invited.

As Laplus is my oshi, I have to make this comment to clear some "misunderstanding".
She frequently complain about being lonely and not having friends to play with, and chat sometimes tease her about that. But that doesn't mean she really has no friend duh. If you watch her project (music video, game event, or 3d live) you can see many different guests outside Holo. Sometimes the combination is hard to imagine but it works because of her. Among Holomem, it's true that she rarely collab, but she still maintain connection as you can see their interaction on other platform (on X or members talking about her on stream). So seeing some people "blame" her personality is the reason for her having no "friends" is ridiculous.
Anyway, the reason for not participate in Vsai this time is probably cause she's in another project (?) ShibuHal just tweet her image (and some other guest) with hint on Valorant, so yeah, let's wait and see.
Man people always bitch about Laplus! She is happy on Twitch, she gets good numbers there and she collabed with so many people outside Holo. Some of her best streams recently were together with the VSPO girls, Karubi and the big GTA server
Not surprised by the indie remarks as she basically goes on her own track most of the time. Twitch focus, slow to collab with genmates, etc. It makes me wonder what her future.

Aki already in holo much longer than laplus, so that's why. Sometimes I kinda feel bad for laplus since majority holomem not into valo (beside Ayame and Kobo) so we rarely see her bond with others holomem. On other sides, she rarely stream even on twitch and the only time she streams much are VCR
When times go on people will really forget she's in hololive . lol

If she really really wants to focus on competitive gaming, transferring to VSPO is a possibility, or maybe re-debut as an indie then joining pro gamer team like Pururu (she joined REJECT iirc).
This is all hypothetical though because so far Hololive is never that strict with their talent's path. Like, you're okay as long as you do your idol job.

it's the full party/collabs that make them great though
it's like how the same old boring Minecraft is more interesting due to the interactions with other members in the server (or it's because it's a de facto zatsudan stream)
problem with Minecraft is that there's not like one active all-streamer server people could join in, so there are only FPS games
there are VCR GTA5 and Rust, but they're not on all year

Imo there's nothing wrong with playing fps. But she's competing with plenty of other Valo or fps streamers in the space who play better/have higher rank, equally or more entertaining in their own way, and very often play with different streamers in duo/trio or even full party. Coupled with her lack of stream/content, people will watch others instead for fps content.
