How To Make Classic Railroad Fudge • Christmas Edition

1:49 - Ingredients
2:42 - Add the dry ingredients
3:19 - Mix dry ingredients
4:16 - Add the milk
4:56 - Bring mixture to a boil
5:05 - Start the rapid boil
5:21 - Bring to a boil 240° F
5:55 - Softball test
6:41 - Stop at 110°F
6:55 - Cooling time, 45 minutes
7:20 - final stirring
7:55 - Add nuts
8:30 - Pour into mold
9:10 - Next day. Cut the fudge
10:11 - Place into small paper cups
10:43 - Taste test “Let It Snow”
11:03 - Merry Christmas
11:18 - Closing
▶︎ In this video we will be making classic railroad fudge. Union Pacific Style.
▶︎ Ingredients
3 Cups of sugar
2/3 Cups Hershey Cocoa
Change to: 1/8 Teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 cups of evaporated milk
1/4 cup of butter, Half of a stick
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 cup of copped nuts
▶︎ Equipment
Candy Thermometer
Wooden spoon
12 inch pot or dutch oven pot
8 inch square dish. Line with parchment paper & buttered
