hey fam bam, Asia has a really valid point with buying high quality sunglasses - it's a long term investment in your eye health. UV exposure causes all kinds of stuff like cataracts and blindness which will cost more in the long term, both money and quality of life. I know it's expensive - if you (or your parents) have health insurance, I know some allow you to claim sunglasses for free or heavily discounted from certain stores. If your budget allows for it, try and get polarised sunglasses - they provide even better protection

plausibleliar this is partially true, but also keep in mind that the brand Luxotica owns Ray Bans and Oakleys, but produces them the exact same way as they produce no name brands at Target and such that they also own. Ray Bans are a waste of your money. I'm not saying this because I'm one of those people who hates luxury items or is jealous. I'm also not going to judge anybody if they do know this, and choose to still buy them. Just thought everyone should know or might even want to research it more.

I actually got a dark brown crossbody/shoulder leather Fossil bag for literally $10 at a Goodwill 2 years ago and it's held up SUPER well that I use for my everyday bag. Plus, who knows how long someone had it before I did? If you have the patience, some brands that aren't considered "luxury" are still really good options if they're good quality and can last you a long time. My motto? Quality > Name ... Which is not to say luxury brands aren't good quality, but they aren't the only ones.

I second the staple jewellery point; every Christmas since 2015, my parents buy me new gold pieces and they elevate the simplest of outfits!
and to those who can't afford designer goods (myself included!), i feel like the best thing to do is buy the best quality you can afford and then just look after them as best as possible! ZARA are great for affordable, expensive looking things that just need some TLC to look good for ages!

Always invest in pieces you absolutely adore, couldn't agree more with you there! It may be tideous having to wait and save up or just waiting until you find something you love but it's so worth it. I unfortunately am very picky when it comes to materialistic items but when I find something I love I know it's going to last me for years and I won't get bored of it until the far future..
So on point! I realized a few years ago when I went more minimalist that with less stuff at ($5-$15) INCLUDING starbucks...I could then splurge occasionally on quality and classic pieces! It adds up so fast...no more Target for me when it comes to frivolous unnecessary items....I know, that store use to suck me in.

yes you can!! get prescription on them :) they will cost more than normal sunglasses but at least you'll be able to see and have your eyes protected at the same time

honestly this is really good advise sometimes we get so caught up with trying get more for our buck but don't really pay attention that at the end of the day when we buy things we forget who we buying for like if its for yourself and here u buying cheep stuff that don't last u and buying more than what u need and at the end all that money gone down the dump when u could save it to buy something worth buying ! Keep in mind ur worth ur money!! we all are any ways hope this makes sense lol love the video tho and trust me I've been there too 😸

I got a great DKNY leather wallet that fills all my wallet needs and I'm in loooove with it, and I love feeling like I'll never need another wallet because it's such good quality. I just need a cardholder now for those days a full wallet isn't necessary.

I recently thought that I should invest in better quality sunnies rather than using ones that don't even have guaranteed UV protection and omg as someone that wears prescription glasses, buying ones with detachable shades saved me a tonne of cash it was also covered by my healthcare funds because I got it done at the optometrist and I literally only paid AUD$19 out of my pocket for a minimal pair of glasses and one with detachable shades so yeah thats an option that glasses wearers could try out 😁😁

I would buy sunglases online. There much more cheap there. You can try them on in the store if you really want to. They sell the same sunglases for up to half of the store price online. I bought my two raybans there and each one was only 130 dollars.

When you invest in items that you absolutely love you will ideally not want more than you need. But that’s the key word isn’t it, need? Do I need multiple card holders but will I say no if I love it? I cannot not. It’s so bad and I’m working on it but I truly agree. 😅

You can buy leather items that are not branded (wallets cars holders jackets vests sacs) they last as long and are not that expensive as the branded ones :)

I love this video! That said, I don't think buying luxury sunglasses is worth it, personally. I think you should get one good pair for like $15-20. Why? Because I have lost so many sunglasses over the years! I would be devastated to lose an expensive pair of sunglasses!
