Make sure you use treated timber if you replace the raised garden beds then line on the inside with plastic to prevent leaching of treatment chemicals.

Good video. We are doing the same and In the same state and your break down is pretty accurate. Only difference I believe we run more land and have been doing it longer so our cost is down at this point. Good Chanel and videos.

Rigid from Home Depot are great tools. Their 18v rechargeable system has everything you could want and the batteries are fully interchangeable. Best of all, if you register them, they have lifetime replacement warranty, including the batteries. I’ve already had three batteries replaced (out of about eight over ten years.) Replacement batteries can save you a lot in the long run.

Thanks for the tip! I haven’t ever used Rigid. If my Ryobis fail I’ll check out Rigid, anything to not have to pay the Milwaukee and Dewalt price $$

3,000 a month is a ridiculous amount 😂, power ,water, internet, food= $280 a month, feed for animals is about $60 a month. But now I'm going to go into my ridiculous building costs, have in mind I have to build a certain way because of Hurricane season, my tool shed with solar and rain harvesting cost me about 7K, my 3 bin composting bin and shovel shed cost me about 2,300 and my unfinished chicken bunker and run will make it to 8K 😂, the chicken watering system alone was over 1K...I hate watering the chickens that much. I'm still in building infrastructure mode.
