About Umek:
UMEK is personally responsible for kickstarting the electronic music scene in his home country by first organizing illegal raves and then becoming one of Slovenia’s most wanted export products and number one music ambassador to the whole world.
And he does fly! Around 100 times per year, visiting almost every continent each year. His gig diary ranges from dark underground clubs in Berlin to massive techno stages on world’s most renowned festivals. Apart from making his name in the DJ booth, he’s also a tireless producer.

Umek surely opens dimensions and take you there. I dont know what he has but even when you can't dance anymore, your feet moves by it's own. He's a beast, seriously, this is not only music, Im sure; and im not the only one, look at everyones faces, Umek takes your mind up and down. Love him but also respect him, kinda scares me 😂❤ just like Santa
So happy that I had a lot of chances to see Fotr behind the decks. Doh I don't like his music anymore but would enjoy partying on it! Haha

I don't how old you are but back in the day when i was high on partys between 1998-2010 he was playing in all the big events as headliner.
Escape From Wonderland 2011… wasn’t a big stage but I think from there in after he’s been to massive stages ever since… Maybe u considered those from your time huge but I think after 2011 is where he got a huge uprise and blew up big time!
Umek is a legend, he destroys your real world and takes you to whole new dimension. simply amazing.
One of the last times my wife and I saw him she’s like “I feel like my heart is gonna pop outta me!” Haha I was like yup, that sounds about right lol

I've only recently got into Techno just before Christmas having mainly concentrated on Hard Dance, Psy and stuff so the heaviness of this set has taken me into a new journey of discovery and an awesome one at that. Therefore this set list has been a god send for me, i keep scuttling back to it when i think "who's this playing now?" Two tracks particularly stand out for me 22:00 Heerhorst - The Rhythm ([Wex 10] Remix) [MILES FROM MARS] and 37:00 Dorian Parano & N.O.B.A. - Therapy (NÜWA (BE) Remix) [ECLIPSE] absolutely excellent stuff, the whole set was awesome but those two just blew my mind. i've found them both on CZcams and Soundcloud since. Many thanks for taking the time out to compile this list, it's being well used. Top Man! :)

@@EverythingisFire he used to produce really great techno. Well crafted hard, raw, analogue, uncompromising tracks. His sets were nice as well. Check out his older stuff from late 90's and beginning of 2000's. Lanicor, Illegal Techno, Manik, Consumer Recreation. Look for old stuff from his buddy too while you're at it, Valentino Kanzyani.
