- The ULTIMATE Camera comparison - Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus / Samsung Galaxy Note 10 vs iPhone XS Max vs Huawei P30 Pro. The scoring system is as follows:
1. This test is split into many different categories, for example “Ultra-wide video quality” or “low-light zoom photography”
2. Each category is assigned an importance rating out of 10, for example, “daylight photography”, which gets a 10, is far more important for most people than “Zoomed video in Low-light”, which gets a 2
3. Within each category, each phone gets a score out of 10 for how good it is in that category.
4. The number of points a phone gets in each category = Importance of category x Score in that category. For example, if the Huawei P30 Pro scored 5/10 in a category that’s 5/10 in importance, then The P30 Pro’s score for this category would be 5 x 5 = 25 points.

Woah, this was a fantastic comparison! Lots of samples, good conclusions. I was a little worried that Samsung with its smaller sensors would be crushed, but clearly they have done a ton of software magic and it turned out to be a pretty good all-round performer. Can't wait to get mine! 👏
I was surprised too. The Samsung with it’s smaller sensor performed better in dynamic range than phones with larger sensors. Usually, the smaller the sensor, the worse the dynamic range

Megapixels is just a marketing gimmick. Megapixels doesn’t matter unless you blow up the image really large, making posters etc, will probably need a larger mp count. Sensors are everything.

That's only because LG doesn't need hype. They don't advertise because they want you to have features and other things. I have the LG Stylo 4, which is better then the iPhone minus the performance and camera quality. The screens for cheaper devices won't look as saturated as a premium phone but it will still look nice regardless.
LG Really has a terrible marketing/economic strategy. They could lead the market but they decide to stay on the edge

You are using smooth colour profile on P30 Pro instead of standard colour, so it's obvious that the colours are a little bit different from reality. Turn on standard colour profile and they will look just like the other two.

Great review. Not so many talked about the improvement of S10s camera via software update and now we're seeing how well Samsung has done through the note 10. Glad to finally see how well samsung has come in terms of night mode, I can confirm it works amazingly in my S10 as well.

The iPhone xs max nailed it with the portrait mode. The skin tone of the iPhone xs max in the portrait mode is unrivaled by both the other phones. I think the portrait mode is the only area where the note 10 plus should improve.

I'm a note 9 owner the improvements are great but that's not the case the only thing I miss is fast charging on the note 9. 15W vs 25W/45W :(

Lot of S users used to buy Notes with every iteration bcoz Note series were always the better, uncompromised version filling up the gap what the S series could have been and also staying ahead of other manufacturers. But this time with the new Notes, Samsung not only removed several useful features but also staying behind other manufactuers in few key areas, hence overall this time from the S10 series, it's not an upgrade even though it has some good points.

Low light and zoom are not important for most people. Apple performance in the very low light situation is understandable because of the color accuracy. It is the only phone that shows dark sky at night
@@angrysmurf3974 You have valid points, but as I said, I really like my ultrawide camera, and photos on some other phones, even at the time of the release of the iPhone, are better in a lot of areas in the camera. Either way, I do miss the pure black night sky. Hopefully companies would acknowledge that and do give us the feature to do so without losing quality in the buildings or areas around it as well

No other phones shows true colors and blue sky like the iPhone look at the pictures in the video two newer flagships but still unable to beat the iPhone. The only phone that gets so close to the iPhone and i love also is the mighty pixel. Samsung and huawei are not good in the camera department and they are way behind the iPhone. Samsung shows overexposed colors and huawei as well, in the daylight shots these two are not even close to iPhone. In the night time they make so much internal edits and their night shots are actually bad. And this guy was on a “paid” mission to make both huawei and iPhone look somehow bad in favor of Samsung

I have a huawei phone right now. And i agree with mrwhosetheboss. It tends to over expose sometimes. The hdr is not that good but in certain light conditions its beautiful. Night mode is where i like it the most bcs the detail is just amazing. But overall note 10+ is better.

As a user of both (apple and note series)for home and work, I'm glad to see them both Leap frogging rah other each year. The camera in the iPhone is great however a few ide phones in the last two years namely pixel, Samsung and Huawei offer higher quality and greater flexibility than apple's flagship. To apple's credit, apple offers a very simple basically /good enough/ image everyone from grandma to grand child can produce and be happy with.

Ultra wide is subjective , not everyone is into that fish eye effect on samsung , it might be a bit too wide for some people's taste .

Virus The Gamer P30 Pro put a Reddish effect during day and i Dont like it. But its macro shots are definitely amazing. Samsung wide angle is great and i almost use it everytime whenever i go to Tours.

All the night photos praise the note 10....how the hell... all the photos look grainy, shakey and it's like someone moved the exposure setting all the way up. Yes, the iPhone is darker, but the photos are clear, show no grain and I can easily read text and understand what is going on. Frankly speaking, when it comes to daylight, the note 10 trades blows with the iPhone, and I`d rather use the Samsung. But c`mon, the note sucks when it comes to night photography.

yup but not for long though. Remember that thats samsungs newest flagship meanwhile iXSMax and p30pro are from last year. Once iphone 11 and mate 30 pro come out the note 10+ will fall behind big time. Good camera though
