It is said that it looks like a roller coaster, but the visitors seem to enjoy it. This layout is located in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Komatsu City is the birthplace of Komatsu, a construction machinery manufacturer.

Este modelo de ferrocarril se exhibió en una instalación pública en una ciudad local de Japón durante siete años. Este trazado de maqueta de ferrocarril me aportó un beneficio de 72.140 euros. Más de 1 millón de personas han visitado este modelo de ferrocarril. Estoy satisfecho.

当時、毎週末ガンプラを買って、その足で模型店の鉄道模型コーナーにあったレイアウトを食い入るように見ていました。
いつか作りたいなぁと思い、トミックスのレイアウト本を買って、夢想してましたが、結局子供特有の財政難、社会起因の景気悪化wでダメでした。
見ているだけでも、当時を思い出しつつ、見入ってます。
ウチに出入りする皆さん、ほとんどが壮年層です。
子供の頃にちょっとカジッたけれど、小遣いでの購入には限界があり、少年野球やミニ・バスケへ。
そして、40歳〜50歳になり、たまたま何かで鉄道模型を見かけ再出発。
で、ハマる、と言う感じです。
子供の頃には買えなかった「車両セット」を買うものの、奥さんに「子供にお金がかかるのに、またそんな物、買って・・・。」と叱られるので、家に持って帰れず、ウチに預けてはたまに走らせにいらっしゃいます。笑

ベースもオーバーハングも全てスタイロフォーム（断熱材・・・無発泡スチロール的な）の積層です。
その表面には軽量紙粘土（でも樹脂系）に水を含ませ柔らかくし、ペタペタと塗ります。
乾燥するまでに垂れてくるので、良い感じの表面になります。
山岳区間は、天空の城ラピュタに出てくるような軌道だね

限られたスペースでロングランを楽しみたかったので、上に伸ばしてみました。
結果として、登山鉄道 1線、地方鉄道 1線、路面電車 2線、在来線 2線、新幹線 2線の計 8線という贅沢なレイアウトになりました。
2022年の春に廃棄してしまったので、懐かしいです。
