    Awesome job Dave. Good camera angles. Learned more from this video. For a second I thought the axle was going to drop on your chest when lowering the axle. That sucker is very heavy. Again nice work.

      I appreciate it! Hoping to near the end of the TXT build this weekend, have all the parts except from seat covers now. I’m two episodes behind on editing, will try to get episode 3 out in the next few days, thanks for the support!

    Excellent video, well done mate! Unfortunately I found your video after I installed my lift kit on my club car incorrectly, I had the rear lift blocks backwards, short side was facing backwards. 😢 Wasn’t going together correctly. Missed that critical step in the paper instructions 😮. It was easier assembling second time around though 😂

    Nice install. what make tires were going on there? Like the centerline looks smooth but good off road traction.

    Hey I have a question, I just installed a 6" lift kit on my club car precedent. When I installed the rear lift, I left the emergency brake on 🤦‍♂️ now I have no brake untill the pedal hits the floor. How do I fix the issue? Thanks. And awesome install video. Detailed really nice and easy!

    At the 21:00 minute mark you are attaching the leaf spring. I'm wondering if you could tell me the part that attaches to the frame? One of these are broken on my cart when attaching new leaf springs I came across this problem. Thank you.

      If you mean the centering nut and bolt on the bottom plates, I installed them (see item 27 below).
      I am stood looking at manuals for 3 different lift kits, they always mount from the top (see item 28 & 29 below)

    David what size tire you put it with the 6/ Lyft live

  • @PAULIskander
    @PAULIskander Před rokem

    Nice clear video, but the music was louder than your voice and kinda annoying.
    After watching this, anyone with basic wrenching experience should be able to tackle the job. Would have been good to hear your impressions of ride quality, steering, etc after the install. Lifted carts can be "tippy" although a 6" isn't too bad. Was the ride more compliant over bumps? I mean, just the bigger diameter tires should help with that.
    One other observation, the radius of bodywork looks like it was made for those tires

    • @DaveDivesIn
      @DaveDivesIn  Před rokem +1

      Hey Paul, thanks for your feedback. You would have to really try to tip the cart over. Overall I prefer the ride of a lifted cart, you just need to ensure the alignment is on point, then the steering is smooth and compliant. One major advantage is the addition of the HD springs, you can ride with 4 adults easily without the rear squatting. I will work on the audio level going forward!
