I love how a bunch of people are like "WOAH! THIS CRAZY!" and "CZcams allowed this!?" IT'S NOT THAT BAD! 😂
CZcams is pretty strict nowadays if theres an excessive amount of cursing so its just surprising i guess? Not necessarily a bad thing but just surprising haha
The Helluva Boss pilot came out at a unique time when CZcams wasn't as strict with the whole cussing and gore censorship, but both this show and it's sister pilot Hazbin Hotel were instrumental in revitalising the indie animation demand on CZcams, and paved the stage for other indies like Murder Drones, Lackadaisy and TADC to thrive.
Also, welcome to the Hellaverse! I hope you'll continue watching more episodes, they always get better as the seasons go on. Some say S2 is not good, but I'll leave that to your judgement.

@@Huppa3333 that's not true at all. CZcams's crackdown on censorship happened a long time before helluva boss came out. But the show doesn't violate any actual TOS and they don't have to worry about demonetization because they're crowdfunded
While not fully canon anymore, it's great you started with the pilot so you get a feel for the characters. Also most races in this series were born in hell like Charlie was.

@@minuette1752 yes, I get frustrated when people say not to watch the pilot anymore, but Vivzie even leaves it up, so why not? It’s an amazing intro to most of the important stuff for the show (also, what’s not canon? cuz I haven’t seen anything that makes the pilot not canon by content later in the show, and I’ve watched this show…too many times. just people saying Viv says it isn’t, which is fine. I’m just sitting here going “…but it seems canon still?”)
@@CrazyRani247 Stolas' personality changed a lot from the pilot to the real show, most noticeably,. He was originally meant to be a villain. We also haven't seen IMP kill any kids directly in the canon show (yet...) and I don't think they would ever bring a living human to Hell.
But you're right, those things aren't that big a deal and it surprised me that they pulled it from the playlist. The real reason may be that the hatedom likes to point to the pilot as the ideal show they were "promised" and they're endlessly bitter that Helluva Boss is not _just_ about obnoxious demons doing missions and killing people. Viv went and ruined it by introducing actual character development and all that girly emotional stuff, donchaknow. 🙄

When they are showing the clips of Loona, when Moxxie asks about the advertisement for weight loss you can see on her computer screen Charlie. It was when she went to the news station in the pilot of Hazbin Hotel and sang her song

Yes, Hazbin Hotel is in the same universe. Hazbin Hotel resides I believe on the pride ring within the Helluva Boss universe. Fun fact: When Moxi asks Luna about the weight loss flyer, Luna is watching Charlie's commercial for Hazbin Hotel.
Some of the Helluva Boss main cast are visible in the news studio in the Hazbin Pilot too.
Both Hazbin Hotel and I.M.P. headquarters are in the Pride ring. Sinners live in Pentagram City (from Hazbin), and they cannot (or are forbidden, we dont know) leave the Pride ring. However, I.M.P.'s business model requires sinners as clients, so they are located in Pride ring too, just in a different city (Imp City). That said, core cast of the Helluva Boss is not restricted to Pride ring like sinners are, and can go to different rings for different business.
P.S. Yes, this series takes off and the character growth even for seemingly side characters is amazing.
Helluva Boss is Hazbin Hotel, if they didn't have corporate oversight reigning them in. And it's glorious.
It's also far more emotionally driven, and whereas Hazbin Hotel is relatively plot centric, Helluva Boss revolves around the relationships between its characters, their traumas, and their attempts to heal emotionally.
If you commit to it, be prepared to cry.
Longtime fan of the series, first time here (I'll be back ^.^) -With Helluva Boss one thing holds true, you never know where it will go. And while the pilot kiiinda shows the humor and direction of the series, it does not prepare you for the depth of the journey ahead. So my advice would be to watch ( and react to) it, it is well worth the time! Oh, and a tip for another YT series (apologies if you have covered it already): "Murder Drones" by Glitch and Liam Vickers. It is an amazing series that really shows the quality of what independent studios can do today!
The real scary part? Whatever Stolas (the old guy) said at the end of his call was so wrong that they had to censor it... in Hell. It was too much for friggin' Hell!
Going to the living world to take out people who sent their client to Hell is a pretty cool concept.

So some info: Hazbin Hotel insofar takes place exclusively within the Pride ring of Hell. This is the ring where all sinners go and they are unable to travel to the other rings (only Hellborn like imps, hellhounds etc can travel between rings...possibly Lucifer and Charlie and Lilith too). Honestly though, I never understood why every human sinner gets sent only to the Pride ring. I kind of feel they should end up in the ring that corresponds to whichever of the seven deadly sins they were most guilty of.

Welcome to possibly the greatest series you'll ever see. Hope you continue this wonderful journey. Please note though that this pilot is NOT considered canon to the rest of the episodes. Also check out the sister series to this show Hazbin Hotel. The Hazbin Pilot as well as the rest of the Helluva Boss series are all on Vivziepop's channel and she allows reactors to do full uncut unedited reactions of her content. The official episodes of Hazbin Hotel season 1 are only on Amazon Prime, so those would probably require some editing as they are no longer solely owned by Vivziepop.
Yes another one down the rabbit hole, enjoy you will feel things 😢😊 in a good way. All prase lord stolas❤ at 6.14 you could see Charlie on the screen loona was watching. Also after the pilot characters change, pilot stolas was the shows vilan but he was changed into a charicter you will love
I liked this voice actor for millie over what they did in the proper show series, enough to not want to continue watching it. Idk out of all of them she's the one that needed to be replaced.

Welcome, I have a small suggestion. Fans of both "Hazbin & Helluva" are nitpicky. So it might take away from the experience, but you could visit the wiki fandom for either shows, or just keep going in blind. Just have fun and provide us with your genuine reactions.

"CZcams allowed this?" well they allowed the song WAP (CZcams literally flagged it's name while writing this comment) and any song made by Cupcake to be posted which are all worse than anything in Helluva Boss.
I was just more surprised for the time this came out with the language, it’s not that bad it’s just surprising, just like I’m surprised those songs exist here too.

I liked what I watched of Hazbin Hotel, but i am addicted to Helluva Boss.
The characters have had a longer time to develop and confront their traumatic pasts. There will be characters that you will not care for but as it goes on might become favorites.
This pilot is pretty overstimulating looking back at it. Everything from episode 1 on is much more digestible.
