You're comparing intangible things to real life skills.
Its like saying Im good at seeing colours as a comparison to somebody who is a carpenter making furniture. "vibe", "track selection". Means nowt mate.
If you want Techno, and somebody plays Techno. Their track selection is good.
25:15 I don't like this song. Its not Techno. Its a chart song remixed for Soundcloud likes.
But you like it, so in reality is track selection a tangible thing you can apply to every single mix, every single DJ at all times, by every person in the world even though everybody is different, and likes different music.
Or is it a fake, made up excuse? Track selection only applies to 1 person. YOU.
In a group of people, expecting to hear Techno, and a Dj plays Techno. Does not make an amazing, life changing Dj. They play what is expected of them.
"vibe" only applies to people who have their face buried in Tik Toks all day and like shiny things
