Didn't he like not give you a choice on what job you wanted to do (talking to the police or fixing the turrent), and set you up so you could go to jail saying "REMEMBER, YOU NEVER SAW ME!" . I'm not saying he's bad it's just everyone leaves that detail out. He's still nice though
Grady is proof that aperture AI aren’t inherently evil. Which means Wheatley did really want to escape with you, the mainframe is just horrible as proof with Wheatley, glados, and cave Johnson

When Cave first got his power, he went mad. I'm assuming that when Cave was alone he was able to harness his powers, which a why he didn't try to kill you.

He’s the type of guy who’ll sit with you and will listen to whatever you tell him as you both lounge at the balcony watching the sunset. He’s calm, understanding, supportive, and patient. A complete polar opposite to Wheatley who is jumpy, all over the place, rather reckless, hyper, and… moronic. I’d love to see more of him someday! If he’s my tutor/professor/instructor I’ll seriously listen to him no matter how long it takes.

Came here after finding out Nate Bargatze voices this character and it feels weird reading the comments and seeing people not know he's a comedian and a very clean one at that. So it makes sense why everyone mentions that Grady is so nice, warms my heart.

That's because the the portal 1 cores ARE newer, in terms of the timeline! The corrupted cores and Wheatley are older, they were in GLaDOS before the Portal 1 cores as the latter were the very last to end up attached to her!
The funniest thing is how he disconnects from his plugins and lands into the toilet, when it was his fault he was putting his face THAT close to the toilet. And how he doesnt get mad, I can say that hes the best core ever xD
