The reason eevee says her name differently is because it is the japanese name イーブイ which is pronounced ee bu i.
I was going to comment the same thing. When I first heard it, my mind immediately jumped to the the Japanese pronunciation. I've been living in Japan for a year now and all we hear are the Japanese names and sounds of the pokémon.
The more they repeated it, the more it started to sound like Finnish "oi voi", which would translate to "oh no".

@@LocalHeretic-ck1kd I thought not. It's not a story the pokemon trainers would tell you. It's a pokemon legend. Darth Pikachu the Electric was a pokemon so strong and high-level that he could influence the weather to create lightning storms. He had such a knowledge of electricity that he could protect others from it. High levels are a path to abilities some would consider... unnatural. He became so powerful, the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he trusted a human with everything he knew, and then this human caught him while he was paralysed. Ironic. He could save others from lightning, but not himself.
Oh sweetie, Ellen, you don't even need your Eevee to learn any of it's base moves. It gets so many special moves that it becomes so overpowered it feels like the anime. Type advantage be damned. I named mine Comet, and he's unstoppable. I love him, so VERY much. He has a mohawk, sunglasses, flowers on his tail, and a snazzy bow(tie) on his chest.

Seeing you guys on the couch, Luke drawing, Ellen playing with her pokemon, felt very authentic to me. Like I was peeking at you guys hanging out. Maybe you guys don't have time for that sort of thing normally these days if that Eevee's levels are any indication but I feel like I like you guys even more now somehow. I can see how Ellen falls for every cat that she meets and yes Luke, it is a bit messed up that that's the only way that you can get Mew.

When you first showed Tetris effect, i was just thinking, why do they need to re-make Tetris, it's already perfect. But then as you got more into it. They definitely upped it, it looks so pretty!
Back in april, I predicted Joker from persona 5 would be a character. "He would be perfect, similar style to other fighters, huge pool of moves to choose from, even multiple final smash choices. Atlus has been doing really well with nintendo recently, and Persona 5 was even a nominee for game of the year, so it's not obscure at all."
I predicted it, but I never believed it. Hoped, but never believed.

I could watch an hour long vid of Ellen just freaking out over Eevee's cuteness. And you gotta love how Eevee started demanding attention at 23:45. I know it's probably just an idle-animation-thing, but in my head-canon, Eevee acted up when ellen turned her attention towards Luke :P
Last week with Jon's encouragement and support in the experiments, this week with James's snide comments while Luke doodles. If I didn't know better I'd believe the entire OX team were actually siblings.

I actually bought Tetris Effect as soon as I could after seeing Luke play it a while back at a games conference. Totally love the game! The music is great (especially the "Finale"), the visuals are stunning even w/o VR, and of course all centered the timeless classic gameplay that is Tetris. If you have a way to play it, I sincerely suggest you pick it up as well!
Oh and pop on your best headset and turn out the lights for one helluva show! ✌

Anybody else think so?
I've played Tetris since the 8-bit NES version. I (like many people I'm sure) have many...MANY versions of Tetris. I didn't think I needed yet another version. But this video sold me on Tetris Effect and it is such a perfect version. It's absolutely gorgeous.

I hate to be that guy, but I have to justify the purchase of extravagant numbers of D&D books to myself by saying that technically thunder damage is more sound based, lightning is it's own separate damage type
Congratulations to Ellen for "let you in" which is a surprisingly good song. Very well written. Good singing voice too. Gives me an idea-is a musical episode still a thing? Mike could play a non singing non dancing character who gets sucked into a videogame. (Maybe Luke could make his keyboard sound like the soundtrack of a Commodore 64 game?) Jane could narrate while Andy plays guitar, Ellen could do some street dance in there somewhere. And definitely some custom songs.

Thunder wave actually yields Thunder damage, which is based on sound waves, and is distinct from Lightning damage in D&D.
