I do think he could have at least thought about that other contestants might find it a bit rude. He’s usually really impulsive and doesn’t really think before he does something.
Joost has not been arrested, there was no violence and the prosecutor is not in any hurry (could take weeks). Nevertheless, the EBU has both convicted and punished Joost, the Netherlands and all fans of Eurovision. Until we know what has happened and why he is under investigation I would not say“free Joost” right now 🤔
In 2021, when Iceland couldn’t perform due to Covid, they still did all of the arena lighting as normal. Sad Sweden didn’t too.
