Francis is one of the most attentive people in the business with a funny and mischievous nature. Done a few meet and great session and he always remembers.
I always moan that shy fly should be in the set as it’s a big favourite and he remembers, last time I took the missus and did a joint meet and great and without me mentioning shy fly he asked me is this your miss tiger then …..??
Most impressed he remembers, but he still told me to stop moaning though ….

Yup. Bob started off as a roady with Quo in the very early days but soon became the fifth member (this was before Andy Bown came into view and after Roy Lynes left), writing songs with (mostly) Rossi. He played harmonica on stage with them (nowadays Andy Bown does that). He and Francis became friends. In the late 70's / early eighties when there was a lot of animosity in the band (along with the heavy drinking, drugs and the arguing about which musical way the band should go) he left Quo, not coming back for a long time. Much later he and Rossi began writing new songs together.
