The main downfall of this Game was it came after HCTP. And HCTP is the GOAT. And everyone had high expectation's that this Game was gonna surpass that.

I love Here comes the pain, I don’t like Smackdown vs Raw 2006 or 2007 as much but I like many features. This is a great balance of the two for me. Smackdown VS Raw was the last Great WWE game for a long time in my opinion (WWE 13 and 14 picked back up. Then it fell again)
I’ve heard some unpopular opinions, but this one is just ridiculous. You might have to pick up 06, 07, 10, and 11 again if you think they weren’t great.
I remember playing this game on ps2 and well there's two problems I've had with it, I understand that wrestlers like brock lesnar, stone cold and Goldberg left the company because they didn't renew their contract but they could've at least but them in the legend section let alone buy them from the item shop/ the backstage area only has two arenas instead of letting you go anywhere it's just a shame compared to hctp where you can literally wrestle at time Square/ after you win a match the game just tells you if you wanna rematch or exit no winning cutscenes or anything like did they run out of time and forgot? But in the end I think this game was so much fun I liked season mode because well you can either go after titles or go after divas 😂

That's not how it works, just because you are WWE Champion doesn't mean anything, they rate how the performance is in the ring not by them being champion its by Strength, Stamina Charisma etc that's why Triple H & Kurt Angle are ranked so High.

@@ZombieSlayer-dj3wb yes, svr 2006 is the best actually. It has both austin and hogan at least. This one does not have them and svr 2007 does not have chris jericho and christian. Svr 2006 has all 4 of them plus it has the casket match. So svr 2006 is the best amongst svr 2005 and svr 2007.
Hold on time out i know that this is a 16 year old game but I'm confused why is Referee Mike Chioda The Smackdown Referee cause in the fall of 2003 Chioda was traded to RAW and plus why is The A-Train & Chuck Palumbo apart of the RAW Roster cause throughout 2004 neither one of those men was apart of The RAW Roster
Ok so A-Train was drafted to Raw on March 22nd 2004 and had a match on Raw vs Y2J on June 7th. As for Chuck Palumbo he only featured on Heat after he was drafted also on March 22nd.

It's due to the charisma stat which wasn't there in HCTP... that stat boosted (or reduced in some cases) the overall of many superstars

If Benoit is a 90 shouldn't Eddie be the same or an 89? Eddie was a WWE Champion for 5 months and John Cena is rated higher then him.
