I remembered when I went to Singapore for study abroad in college. They told me I could enter the country with the packs of gum I had in my bag but just couldn't sell it/litter it or else I'd be sent to jail. My 20 year old emptied those gum in the airport trash can so fast you'd think I was Usain Bolt. No one was going to catch me selling or even chewing gum if there're so many restrictions on them. I don't know the full context of this situation in the video so I can't comment on it. What I do know is that breaking other countries' rules is not worth it. Not knowing the rule (like me when it came to gums in Singapore) is not an excuse.
