He also said she reached out first, and at first he didn’t even know who the most decorated athlete was; then he said she drove 45 miles to meet him that first time. To me these are red flags that he puts himself first, and she is doing the "Heavy Lifting". She is now doing the damage control by reacting to the negativity he created.
I am not saying she should end the marriage, but to not ignore the red flags that we the public are seeing. His behavior is saying to me that he needs to put Simone first.
