Metso Research Center in Pori, Finland was established more than 70 years ago. It is the home of technology development for hydrometallurgy processes and battery materials, as well as for innovative minerals’ separation and smelting technologies. The facilities include 10 extensive laboratories and pilot plants for minerals processing, hydrometallurgy, smelting and materials research. The processes research is supported by state-of-the-art mineralogical and analytical laboratories.
