      awww... it's just like saying Ford is belonged to Kalk Benz who first invented car. Mo:Mo belongs to Nepal and you own mogmog from Tibet. Don't try to fake it and try to own the relevance. If you hate you came to USA with the help of Nepal it's not surprising.

    I don't know how momo's came to nepal but most Nepalese go to food. If you're happy then have momo, if you're sad eat momo and if you feel nothing, then yes eat momo.

      Momo came from tibet, brought by Nepali traders...but this is Nepali momo it has all different ingredients from filling to sauces and spices. Tibetan diaspora make fun of Nepali for making chicken momo but here look at her how proudly she is presenting chicken momo as tibetan. Lol

      Hello, I am a Tibetan and speak Tibetan as well. We call it momo in Tibetan language; always have. What you're referring to specifically "mog mog" is how it is spelled in Tibetan language but the "g" sound is silent. While sha momo (meat 🥟) & tsel momo (veggie momo) became very popular amongst mainstream Nepali & Indian population, there is a wide variety of momo in Tibetan cuisine such as tingmomo, mothuk, churra momo etc. Momo dishes generations of my family grew up making & eating. Have a nice day💛

      @tyt684 Před 2 měsíci +2

      Oi Muji, Mog Mog is how its written in Tibetan, but the word 'G' is silent. Momo originated from Tibet and came to Nepal in 1960s only.

      @@tyt684 yeah and you were there when happened. Tibeten used cumin, garam masala and all. Oh they even exported to Korea, Vietnam, Myanmar and other parts of the world. What I heard is when Korean and Vietnamese eat momo they remember Tibet first🤣🤣🤣🤣 just like Ratan Tata remember America cos cars were first manufactured and invented there probably. Jatha muji tero dimag.

  • @whitneylj90

    Himalayan momo = Nepali momo. Momo as we know it is shaped by Nepali flavour profile! Don't try to erase Nepali culinary history by not even mentioning the fact that momo and the "showstopper" sauces as you have presented here is Nepali style. If you only want to mention Tibet then present tibetan momo which doesn't use any different sauce or ingredients than east asian soy sauce or hot sauce. If a Nepali had gone on a program like this and presented tibetan style momo and actually even nepali momo without mentioning tibet we all know tibetans and performative americans would be complaining here. But it's A-OK for tibetans who received so much of culture, religion, architecture, writing systems etc from Nepal to ride on the coattails of Nepalese culture in the name of representation while we never complained about tibet using our Himalayan cultural elements.

    • @muan990
      @muan990 Před 2 měsíci

      exactly!!! The "FlAvoUrrrrFuL sAuCe" which she is talking about has origin somewhere else. She chose to do it deliberately I guess. I can't help but laugh to see her face while presenting it as "aUtHeNtIc TibEtAaN cUsInE". It's like we already know the truth but she is lying to our face.

      @whitneylj90 Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@zinotash3945 momo is not tibetan, it just came to Nepal after Tibet. It is originally Chinese so let's give credit to China if you're not a hypocrite. And tibet's momo has no uniqueness from chinese dumplings except for yak meat. The modern momo is Nepali.

      @nepalihercules Před 2 měsíci +2

      @@zinotash3945 lol sherpas are part of nepali culture. go read your history book, and not just the ones written by CIA agent dalai lama. most tibetans only have an identity because they came to nepal as refugees and were allowed to live.

      @zinotash3945 Před 2 měsíci

      @@nepalihercules Sherpas are from Tibet you fool, there’s no such thing as Nepali culture. Nepal isn’t even original. What makes up Nepali culture is an amalgamation of Indian and Tibetan culture. You’ve always been sandwiched between rising Asian powers, but now even China doesn’t want you because there’s 0 worth in Nepal. Your only cling to relevance is taking a history and culture that doesn’t belong to you and gaslighting anyone that calls out your bs.
